Welcome to Shipper Central :D

We hope the time you spend here is as enjoyable as possible. If you're new to the forum, this is the place to visit first. In order to help you, we've provided some simple guidelines to follow, which you can find here.

Just in case you have a question about Shipper Central that hasn't been answered here or by the board Rules , please feel free to ask a question here and we'll do our best to answer it for you.

Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve things in Shipper Central, feel free to suggest them here. For example, I know a major problem is spoilers. Any ideas on how to keep the spoilers a secret would be greatly appreciated.

LoL, I just have one question. Isn't it ironic that we aren't allowed to mention anything about "downloading CSI episodes", but on the side of this website, there is an ad for a site where you can download them? LoL, no harm intended with this question. I'm just curious as to why it's there. :D

Well, I'm afraid neither lament nor myself have any control over what's advertised at the side of the page, only what our posters post. And the rules are pretty clear on the matter...

As a fan site for a television show, intellectual property is an important topic for us. We cannot legally or morally condone tape-trading in episodes or downloading episodes online, and do not allow discussions on this matter. Any other copyright violations will also not be allowed.

Sorry, as far as TalkCSI is concerned, 'Downloading' is the new cus word, so let's avoid it at all costs, m'kay ;)

What is the PG rating here? In reading some of the responses (and I am jsut as guilty) it occurred to me that we may have some young ones who are under age. Is there any limitations to discussion topics, phrases and wording.. ? Use of language and expressions and stuff.

The rules state that:

lament and myself will be posting another post in the guidelines section to explain ratings systems, in particular how to rate fanfics which you may like to link to from this board.

To tide you over until that post, PG-13 is defined as:

Very mild swearing is fine, as is some nudity and moderate violence. Fade to black sexuality and frank discussion of sexual concepts are fine here.

However stronger swear-words, explicit sexual references, etc, are a no-no.

If I were to make a shipper video ie Mac/Stella would it be posted here or in the fan videos section. How about if I was to include a story with it?

if you make a ship video for Mac/Stella, you could certainly post a link to it in the Mac/Stella thread. If you're posting fanfiction, the best thing to do is post it in the FanFiction forum, but also post a link to it within the Mac/Stella thread here too.
