Chapter one

Emma walked down the hall at LV CSI.
"I'm here to see Dr Grissom"
"Can i ask who's here?"
"Tell him Emma. he'll know who i am!"

Emma sat down and waited for him.
A voice came from beside her "Ms Grissom what are you doing here? you don't start until monday."

Emma looked up to see the guy who had interviewed her.
"I'm here to see Dr Grissom."
"I never asked you if you were related."

A voice that shocked her came from behind them "Yes Conrad. she's my daughter"
Emma turned around to see her role model & father.
"Hi Dad!"

Ecklie turned to leave before he did, he commented to Emma " I'll see you on Monday"
Gil looked unsure "What's going on Emma?"
"I'm a CSI Level 1. my boyfriend told me there was an opening on Night Shift . so i got an interview & was given the job. i start Monday"
"Emma guess who your supervisior is?"
"I know it's you. Can i take to breakfast?"
"Of course but the others might join us when they have finished their cases".

Not long after Gil & Emma sat down at the shifts table talking.

"So do i know your boyfriend? How long have you been together?"
"We've been together 18 months tomorrow. daddy he was your lab rat for years. his name is Greg"
"Sanders?"

Greg had just walked in and heard Gil.

"Hi boss, hi there baby!"

He lent in and kissed Emma.

"Greg that's my daughter who got her mouth filled with your tongue!" Gil said.

Greg pulled back sitting next to Emma and replied " I know. Rick, Nick, Cat & Sara are on their way."

"Dad is Sara the one who I meet at Havard when i visited you. the one who you fancied!"

"yes she is. Greg this is a secret, do not repeat it!"

"Okay i promise on Emma's life" Greg said kissing Emma's cheek.

"I love Sara. i have been in love with her since i met her."

"I knew it! Secret's safe"
 
Chapter 3

Just then a leggy brunette walked in with a blonde.

Greg smiled and introduced Emma "Emma this is Catherine & Sara"
"Baby i know Sara from Havard"

Sara looked at Gil then at Emma then Greg "Greggo dating the boss's daughter"


Catherine looked shocked at Gil.
"Catherine i'll clear this up when the boys get here" Gil said.

it wasn't long before the boys arrived, breakfast was eaten and then Catherine spoke up.
"Gil explain now!"
"This is Emma Heather Grissom, she's our new CSI Level 1. she's also Greg's girlfriend and also my daughter."
"Daughter?!"
"23 years ago i was a university student and i was married. Emma was 9 months old when her mother was taken and then murdered. they never found her killer. Caitlin's mother helped me raise Emma."

Emma didnt get to say anything as her cellphone rang.
