I really don't know if NY will be renewed or cancelled, it's been 3 years the show is in danger of cancellation so let's hope it will be renewed for a very last season ;)

Yeah, I hope so to but even if it's renewed, we will be in the same place as we are now.

This is like one of the only dramas on CBS I watch... A year without CSI: New York is like a life without chocolate. I still have high hopes until if/when they say 'CSI NY is cancelled.'

I am crossing everything I possess for a season 10, I'm not ready to give up yet! :) I actually think there's way to much going on for them to cancel the show this season. I think with Flack's new relationship (Love it BTW), the new Messer baby and of course Mac's engagement there's a hell of a lot more to go before the show looses out to newer ones.

I have had this question burning in the back of my mind and it is this: Do you think that having the show on a set hurt it compared to when the show first started?

Can you explain that as to when it first started? Wasn't it on the set?

Like I know when the show first started they weren't in the lab as much as they have been the last couple of seasons. I mean I know they have to go back to the lab, but it just seems like it's more and more. Now this past season I've seen them out more than the last couple of seasons.

Don't know maybe it's just me.

Hmmm.. I never did think of that much but I think the outside shots are at the studios as well. Maybe if they left town that would be more expensive.

Not sure if it needs its own thread or not, but the award nomination is cool, even if it isn't a 'major' one.

I'm catching up on this season and I'm amazed to see detective vartann from csi vegas pop up as a villain in the misconceptions episode. I know theyve done it before with actors but not someone as prominent in the series as him. Lazy casting.

I'm still a couple of episodes away from finishing watching this final series, but I noticed that The first episode of Elementary pretty much ripped the storyline of NY season 9s command+p episode with the 3d manufactured gun.
