The episode sounds very interesting. A cougar mom dating/sleeping with the man her daughter has a crush on and the guy loves the mom and yet still hooked up with the daughter once. WOW talk about a love triangle!!

Hopefully ths will be a good storyline for Ryan and Natalia. I could see Ryan sort of talking to the girl and tell her what to look for in a good guy and how any guy would be lucky to have her. I could see Natalia being almost like the girls girl talk buddy to kinda get her frustrations out and Natalia could use her past with Nick to comfort her. I also think that if Eric is back at work by this episode that this could be something that he could be involved in that is removed from e/c melodrama. I think that this could giver Eric a chance to show the very heroic-knight in shinig armor side of him. All in all these are just my theories and my POV of what could come from this episode, not to mention that the way it sounds just from the character details it would be getting back to the true nature of CSI:Miami.

I guess I'll just have to wait for more spoilers to see if my theories are right.

Yeah and it leaves me wondering which one of the three is gonna get killed. My bet's on the boyfriend. But it could be the mom too.

My voted is on the boyfriend-crush-secret-lover guy.

 It has to do with a 50 something wife who likes younger guys. She even ends up hooking up with her daughter's love interest. Don't know exactly what the case is, though.

 That sounds like a couple of guests on a talk show.

:guffaw:You're soooo right  :guffaw:That's so funny. I hope the episode doesn't end up that way!

Forget talk show....there is/was actually a show on one of the cable channels that is called "Cougars" Basically it is like the bachorlette except with a woman who is near 50 hooking up with a bunch of youngers guys barely in their mid 30's! It was even more hilarious than the bachelor or bachelorette....some of these guys were just sooo out there!

This episode is set to begin filming august 10th btw. Looks like from Adam's tweets that the premiere is pretty much finished filming. So probably on Monday, they will beging filiming 802. It takes them about a week to prep an ep, which includes scoutng a location and casting and then about a week to film it...which is why they work like 12 to 14 hr days! Spoilers typically come out every 8 to 10 business days and like I said in an earlier post...my site should have the rest of the spoilers by late tomorrow afternoon so by tomorrow night we should know exactly what cougar mom is up to!!

I can imagine Troy lives in the same town as me because all the young chicks flourish on a diet of drama.

I am a little confused: is the EC's character a cop (like Frank) or a CSI?

As for CSI: Miami ending after the end of season 8: I think we would have heard something by now. CSIM is consistantly in the top ten most watched shows and as long as that is happening, it isn't going anywhere. All shows run their course, but I think this one has a few more season left to go, especially if they try and get back to basics (the cases the focal point) and divy up screen time so all the characters (including Ryan, Natalia and Frank) get a chance to be seen and solve cases. Admittedly, I am a little concerned about adding a new character such as EC. If he was going to be the new ME (even though I am holding out some hope KA might come back), adding this new character would have made more sense. I would rather see a new ME and keep Yelena around if one needed a cop in addition to Frank.

From what is gathered in the spoilers, he is a CSI now.
Another CSI? That's amazing. All of the CSI's that the show has now aren't fully utilized, so another is added.:confused:Unless the show is going to have more than one case going on,why add another CSI?

I'd love to have Yelina around more, but the writers decided to have her retire or quit as a cop and become a private investigator instead. I'm not sure if she even does that anymore to be honest. I'm getting a little confused where she's concerned.

I'm hoping they'll have more than one case per ep.

What's wierd is that his being a CSI is suggested through the spoilers but tptb haven't said that he is -- I can't help but wonder why they wouldn't just say he's coming in as an ex-cop turned CSI.
I don't really 'get it' either, lord knows there isn't a need for another CSI, but I'm guessing/hoping we'll get an explanation as the season progresses.

Maybe there'll be some changes with his character like who works with who next season. But I think he's on the sideline, like Ryan in the beginning of season 3. You know, we already have an episode about a mother sleeping with the child's boy friend? It's Broken Home! I tell you, it better be more than that or I'll have to call it a recycled episode/idea.

I don't think this character will be on the sidelines. He has already been in several shows,he will be featured plenty.Of course,I would be very happy to be proven wrong.
