Although I'm against the thought of a CSI musical that does sound like a hilarious idea! :lol:Or maybe they'll do a song and dance routine like from the Sound of Music, "So long farewell."^I don't want to derail the thread any further, but I was speaking about PMs in general. Just trying to interject some humour.
'Desperate Housewives' alum to wig out on 'CSI' -- EXCLUSIVE
A Desperate Housewives and The Event actor is coming to CSI.
Roger Bart has landed a colorful guest-starring role on the CBS crime drama, playing an eccentric wig maker. Bart’s character makes wigs for women suffering from cancer and has a very high opinion of the artistry of his work — “giving back what God has taken away” and all. He’ll appear in an episode during the February sweeps.
Meanwhile, today marks a CSI milestone: After 11 years, it’s Marg Helgenberger’s last day of filming on the crime drama.

Oh and I just want to quote my last post as it's probably been lost amongst the... errm... drama...
In my honest opinion, George, Paul, Jorja, Eric, Robert, David and even Wally are "originals" in my mind. I doesn't matter whether they appeared in the pilot, whether their name was on the title screens from the beginning or whether they were put on at a later stage. Each of them have clocked at least 200 episodes and that for me is enough to consider them "the original team" and they all equally deserve that special farewell.
I don't want Catherine's goodbye to be like Grissom's, i.e. individually going round each character. Give us a team moment. Something like the diner scene from "Strip Strangler" would be wonderful. I would like everyone there, including DB and Morgan. Something which symbolises the grave-shift as a team, not as secluded individuals which was a thing of the Langston-era.
Yes it is the last new ep before the new year.Next week looks good. Is that the last before the hiatus?
Sadly, Petersen — who retains a producer credit – was not there, but the rest of the cast was not only on hand to say goodbye but to participate in Helgenberger’s final scene. The particulars of Catherine’s departure will stay secret for now, but Danson will appear in Helgenberger’s last on-screen moment, as will George Eads (Nick Stokes), Paul Guilfoyle (Capt. Jim Brass), Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders), Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins) David Berman (David Phillips), Wallace Langham (David Hodges), Jon Wellner (Henry Andrews) and Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody).
Helgenberger’s final episode will air Jan. 25.
That said, I really want her last scene to be with Lindsey. Like Grissom, I think it's good to end with a view of their future after CSI. (And, yes, speedy, Grissom's future and final scene was with SARA.)
