Hey I was looking at teasers of CBS Fall 2010 shows and the one for CSI gave us another possible clue to Kacey's role. I could be wrong, but it looks like she carries a side arm, and has her weapon drawn while walking down steps with Stokes into a dark room. So this would mean she is more than a lab tech, but actually a CSI? Each CSI has an expertise in some field, like Grissom the bug expert.

Bursting the movie bubble, apparently the French news reporter grabbed quotes from an old interview (back when Billy was still on the show) and used them without understanding what CM said. No new info on movie, no TV movie, no nothing. It remains a could-have-been.
Props to everyone in France who emailed me! Apparently a well trusted French reporter called up CSI to ask what the heck was up.

Sorry to burst your bubble.. but most (maybe all) of those scenes are from season 10. The clip at 1:38-1:40 is from the episode Irradiator. The CSIs are Nick Stokes and Sara Sidle (doing the cops' job).
That's cool. I wasn't 100% sure. At least I have a chance to watch that episode this week. Irradiator

Here's some tidbits from Anthony Zuiker in an interview he did.
a "forensic proof killer." The villain called "Sqweegel" is from my best-selling novel Level 26: Dark Origins. It's the first time in history that a villain from a novel has appeared on national television by the same creator, a literary/broadcast cross-over if you will. It stars Ann-Margret and is scary as hell.

Well knock me down. I only just put about wanting werewolves in CSI in the movie thread this morning! Mr Zuiker works quick. Heh.
I like that they're going to be "fun". I like that a lot.
Sounds like it might be sort of a "Twilight" spoof kind of deal.

Oooo....I love that Ann Margaret is going to be on, especially the Squeegel episode. I love it when they have classic actors/actresses on the show!

Me too, she's turned into quite a good actress, in her later years, and she was on "Live With Regis & Kelly" [she looked fabulous] where she announced she was nominated for an Emmy on a "Law & Order" episode. She was the best part of that episode~ I wonder what role she'll have on CSI?

Well, I'm not big on the whole vampire craze these days, but if done right it could be cool. Maybe they'll make fun of them.
