Season 3
News that Olivia is Fitz's mistress is "handled" when a White House employee takes the fall. Olivia goes to work on the presidential re-election campaign. Jake is released by B613 to later become the head of the organization. The man who was in charge, Rowan/Eli/Papa Pope, eventually reveals the truth about Operation Remington and Liv's terrorist mom, Maya. Olivia can't deny her passion for Fitz, who brings her to Vermont to show her the dream. This is where she'd make jam. Back in the real world, Olivia strikes up a fake relationship with Jake that leads to some real passion.

Flashbacks show that Big Jerry Grant raped Mellie, who has an affair with Fitz's V.P. candidate, Andrew. Cyrus Beene's plan to bring down Sally Langston by throwing James at Daniel Douglas backfires. The V.P. overcomes the guilt of murdering her hubby to run against Fitz for the presidency. Huck engages in some teeth-pulling torture when he learns Quinn betrayed Olivia. These two eventually lick and make up. Charlie exacts revenge by letting Huck know where his family is. Jake kills James and others in the name of B613, which is, indeed, brought down by Olivia until her dad reclaims his Command position. Jake gives David the proof he needs to take them down again. Fitz wins the election after a calculated tragedy takes his son. He can't be with Olivia, who has left her post as head of OPA to fly off into the unknown with Jake by her side.
