There are states( and I assume other areas) where you can perform weddings and not be ordained.Apparently a person can apply for a license for a limited time. I just think it's great that Eva thinks so much of him that she would ask him to do it.
 
I just finished watching that in the Eva thread. It's so cool that he's going to marry her & Joe -- Eva and Jon are 2 of my 3 faves, so I'm a little gushy over this. :eek: I hope there's pictures, & maybe a video too if we're lucky.
 
I hope for pics too. Gushy is a good word,I'm just thrilled over the whole thing.I just loved how Eva spoke of Jon.I know the wedding is going to be beautiful because Eva herself is a beautiful person and of course Jon will be there too.

OMG! That is so neat! What an honor to be apart of the wedding in that way! Him and Eva must be really close. I'm all Gushy too!!
 
I just think that is so incredibly sweet! Eva is basically telling us fans that we don't have to be concerned about Jon and that he is everything we believe he is in real life. That is such a great honor! I love her for that! I think that all you need is a civil license to make the marriage legal and that is usually done ahead of time. The vows are usually performed by a spiritual leader to make a public statement that their marriage is in God's care. But she said this was an atypical ceremony.

Thats so cool. They must be very close for her to ask him to do that. I am a bit gushy as well!
 
I am not a typical 'gushy' girl over weddings... LOL, but I must say, this one has me gushing! Oh to be able to witness that! I think their friendship is so adorable. Especially the way she spoke so highly of him. You can't help but to adore her too. They're such awesome cast members! NOW only if TPTB could SEE that. LOL! :)

But yes... I hope we get some pictures. You know Jon's going to look all hot at the beach and all... :drool:

Interesting to see which GOWN she actually chooses too... I must admit! :D

A smile comes to my face thinking of how Eva spoke so lovingly of Jon, what a special friendship they have.

I would like to see the gown Eva chooses as well,she looks great in the ones she modeled.

I love the picures of the military guys hugging him and him sticking his tongue out behind another guy. I hope Jonathan never loses his goofiness. And he's such a natural with kids and animals!

I am not a gushy person when it comes to weddings but that video made me go ahhhhh, especially when Eva talking about Jon (and she did look very pretty in those dresses as well). It is so nice that they are so close that she would want him to officiate:thumbsup:

He seems like such a nice guy and Eva confirmed what we have all been saying:). If I am not mistaken one can become a "minister" off of the internet. I don't know if that is what happened, but I bet Jon felt so honored to do it. Would love to see pictures myself:thumbsup:
 
In some states a notary public may do weddings. I'm a notary in my state, but I can't perform weddings. That's okay because to me, that's a big responsibility. I do believe Florida and Ohio notaries can marry people, though. So if Jon just happens to be a notary in a state that allows them to marry people, then it's possible.
