Rock/Alternative music

Where I live in the beginning of June there's this concert thing called Endfest. There's all these cool bands playing. There's three stages. On the main stage there's going to be Queens of the Stoneage, Interpol, and other good ones. I wish i could go. i've never been to a concert...
 
I've been to a couple shows like that. We (CT) had a killer alt. rock radio station that held a festival, like an all day thing once a year i went to the last one. They got sold out to some rap channel though, broke my heart. I also went to Warpped Tour. And we have a cool venue for only rock shows. I'm a concert junkie. *fun fact: Interpol's debut release was recorded in Bridgeport CT. :D
 
well, it really depends.
I love a variety of music :cool:

Right now some of my favorites are Evanescence :D
 
i love all alternative music; rock, punk, reggae, dub, ska...just name it!

my fav bands would have to be: nick cave (i adore him!), QOTSA, the hives, king prawn, the strokes, radikal dub collective, air, beck, the doors...um, and a lot of other bands :D
 
I likes teh rock, screamo, post-hardcore, some punk and a little bit of metal :D

My favorite bands are: The Offspring, Rufio, Saosin, Atreyu, Armor for Sleep, Senses Fail, Phineas, Funeral for a Friend, and Ocean Daybreak.

I also like just random mixes (like the warpt tour mix) just cuz it has a variety of pretty good bands. :D
 
i have so many favorite bands... some are interpol, phantom planet, schoolyard heroes, aquebats, and radiohead. there's a lot more.. hey.. does anyone here like the ceasars? they sing the song Jerk it Out in the ipod commercials..

i like most of Linkin Park's music. i like the album meteora, i think that's what its called. i haven't heard much mxpx though.
 
Meteora is awesome. I also have Live In Texas. I don't have Hybrid Theory or Reanimation, but I'll get them sometime.

Another CD I am enjoying the White Stripes 'Elephant' I love it.
