OMGZG (I don't even know what the means) How could Lori be such a bitch...she's an ass I tell you, she faked her own death, left everyone miserable and then they find out she's alive, come to see her (her own PARENTS) and she just ignores them? THEY should be so freakin happy to see her alive and she should be apologizing and such, she RUINED their lives. A death of a child is the WORST. OMG, Lori, you ass!

Thanks Geni.

OMG LORI'S ALIVE!
Horatio: Angry? This is beyond angry. You're lucky I don't have a trigger finger or you'd be pushing up daisies right now.
that has to be the best Horatio line ever.
Hyper Katie is almost as much fun as drunk Katie, but not quite...
Speed's being...stubborn. And stiff. Definately having trouble with the Lori's alive thing.
Oh, poor Delko and Jess, you have to tell us what happened to Alena!
Great Work Geni!

JESSICA! I am a very sweet and kind hearted person...*mummbles* When I want to be...

Anyways! Geni, I swear you are the only peron who can make me do that weasel laugh of mine. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet.

Oh man hyper/excited RT Katie is almost as much fun as Drunk Katie. And I seriously think I was off of my meds there for a while or maybe I was on some meds, maybe that was my problem. Awwwww Speed came down just because I don't like riding in planes. Pfft yeah right I'll believe that when H man stomps on his own pair of high end sun glasses. And whoa boy I'm starting to get hyper now.

Lori could always read people like a book. And I think its kinda interesting how her father is the one person she can not read.

But I swear I go through more emotions while I read the RT then Ross and Rachel go through break ups. One minute i'm laughing my butt off and the next i'm getting all sad and stuff and then the next i'm all "Buuuuurn" *sighs* I'm rambling anyways, Geni, what I am trying to say is that you are a good writer. Only a good writer could make me do that. Update soon please!

Good Lord... I go away for one day, and the world caves in. Lori is in fact, alive, and well, very bitchy it seems. She harbors some really bad feelings towards Speed... Um...maybe they need to talk, really talk it out. Meanwhile, someone really needs to keep all coffee from RT Katie...She was running on energizer bunny batteries... Slow down , girl! How cool was it that even though Speed didn't want to go, he went anyway, for somekind of support. He has a heart of gold after all... Apparently, RT Anni was super cool about the whole thing. Good on her! ;)

Ha, the scene between H and Stetler is classic! Horatio can find anything, and oddly, I don't think he would have to be a CSI to do it either- he's just that damn cool....

A true testament that you are awesome,

1) I run to the computer to get updates.
2) I tell everyone I know that I'm in an awesome story, and try to recruit new readers...

and three...

I run to the computer to get updates! (and if there are none, I just read the old updates. Yes, I am in fact, weird.

Seriously though, this is the best thing since popcorn to me ( and I'm telling you, I love popcorn) It's something I have to have...

What I'm trying to say, Is... YOU ROCK! Great job, Geni!

Woah, Katie, step away from the coffee. Someone get that woman some decaf! At least she was being thorough, checking behind plants and everything. But she was right about Lori being alive, and now she gets bragging rights. Go Katie! :D

Speaking of Lori, could she be any less of a bitch? I mean, hello, those are your parents Lori. They were tearing themselves apart because they thought you had died, and you can’t even be decent enough to be kind to them when you finally see them? Those were the people who created you; without them, you wouldn’t be in a position to fake your death! Geez.

Oh we love your ramblings just as much as we love your updates. Keep it up! :D

LORI'S ALIVE!!!

GO HORATIO! PROVE THAT MOTHA*$*%#@ WRONG!!

Horatio: Angry? This is beyond angry. You're lucky I don't have a trigger finger or you'd be pushing up daisies right now.

We need that in the show. Why can't the show be like your fic Geni? :(

Thanks for the updates Geni! *huggles* :D

you certainly know how to create tension in a story...and Lori is still alive? wow you never cease to amaze me with your creative mind Geni...fabulous

update soon Geni please.

Wasn't Lori the one that was poisined by that cream or something of the like? It was a long time ago and i forget...

OMG so much has happened since i read the last update, I can't believe that lori is alive and just wow. I mean and then speed just is being a jackass. Great Updates geni!

Thanks for the fantastic reviews and the very nice compliments. *huggles and cookies for all* You're all really great. :)

Oh gee I don't know if the anyone would want the show to be like my fic.

And it was Holly who was poisoned by the cream. :)

Miami, PD

Horatio: *takes off shades* Where'd PD find her?

Yelina: A bus stop in Frank County.

Horatio: You page Eric?

Yelina: I did. He's on his way. I have a nurse coming in as well to look her over.

Horatio: Okay thank you ma'am. *walks into interrogation room*

Interrogation room

Horatio: *sits down*

Alena: *staring at table, tear rolls down her cheek*

Horatio: Alena?

Alena: *looks at Horatio*

Horatio: *smirks* How are you sweetheart?

Alena: *sniffs*

Horatio: Your dad's going to be here soon. But I'd like to ask you a few questions first, would that be alright?

Alena: *nods*

Horatio: Okay. We've all been looking for you for some time now. Do you know where you were before the bus station?

Alena: *shakes head*

Horatio: The man who took you, do you know his name?

Alena: *nods* Ricky.

Horatio: Did anyone else talk to you, or take you anywhere?

Alena: *nods*

Horatio: Who?

Alena: It was a girl.

Horatio: And where did the girl take you?

Alena: The bus stop.

Horatio: Do you know her name?

Alena: *nods* Her name's Maxine.

Horatio: *tilts head* ...Maxine. Um...

Alena: Am I in trouble?

Horatio: *smiles* No sweetheart you're not in trouble. You're just fine. I'll tell you what, I...Will be right back. Okay?

Alena: *nods*

Horatio: Okay sit tight. *leaves*

Alena: *lowers head*

DNA lab

Horatio: *walks over* Valera.

Valera: Lieutenant, did you need something?

Horatio: As a matter of fact I do. Alena Delko was found today at a bus stop.

Valera: Oh well that's good news right?

Horatio: It is...It is good news, tell me something. Where were you yesterday?

Valera: *shakes head* I don't know what you mean. I was here.

Horatio: Well I need to be sure. IAB has a close eye on the lab right now.

Valera: I came into work at around eight and left at seven pm.

Horatio: Where were you all week?

Valera: My schedule has been the same all week. What's going on?

Horatio: Well here's the problem. Alena identified a woman named Maxine who dropped her off at the bus stop and Stetler said that he didn't have Alena yesterday.

Valera: There are a lot of people named Maxine.

Horatio: Yes but only one that works in the lab.

Valera: What are you implying Lieutenant? That I kidnapped her?

Horatio: No. Maybe Stetler paid you off to take her somewhere.

Valera: ...

Horatio: Valera, now would be a good time to tell the truth.

Valera: ...He said he'd pay me 50 grand to take her to the bus station. Nothing more. I didn't even take the money I just wanted her to be safe. You have got to believe me, I put her there to be found. Little kids alone at the bus station puts up red flags, y'know?

Horatio: *shifts positions* I understand.

Valera: I know I should have said something but I didn't want to look guilty. I had nothing to do with her kidnapping. Stetler just came in here and told me what to do. He's my superior. He didn't even offer the money until I said I'd bring her here. I swear I didn't take the money.

Horatio: *nods* Unfortunately it doesn't look good.

Valera: Am I going to be fired?

Horatio: No, that's not what's going to happen. I'll handle it.

Valera: Really?

Horatio: You let me worry about everything, okay?

Valera: Okay.

Horatio: *leaves*

Valera: *sigh*

PD, ten minutes later

Delko: *runs over* H.

Horatio: How's Jess?

Delko: I don't know. She won't open the door for me, even when I told her Alena was found.

Horatio: She's in the interview room right now if you'd like to speak to her.

Delko: I would. Where's Stetler?

Horatio: Why?

Delko: I want five minutes alone with him.

Horatio: He's in lockup, no one's going to touch him.

Delko: *frowns* He stole my baby girl.

Horatio: I know but right now you need to steer clear of incriminating activities so why don't you visit your daughter and let me take care of Stetler.

Delko: Alright. *walks into interview room*

Interrogation room

Delko: ...Alena?

Alena: DADDY! *runs over*

Delko: *picks up Alena, hugs her*

Alena: *starts to cry*

Delko: Oh it's okay, shhh. Shh don't cry. You're safe now.

Alena: *hugs tighter*

Delko: *looks through glass*

Horatio: *stares at Eric*

Delko: *nods*

Horatio: *walks away*

Colombia, Foreign Affairs building, 9pm

Lori: *doing paperwork*

Knock on door is heard

Lori: Come in.

Speed: *walks in*

Lori: *looks up* Shouldn't you be on your way to Miami?

Speed: *sits down* Your mother enjoyed lunch.

Lori: Good.

Speed: You always work this late?

Lori: I was pushed back a few hours by lunch so yes, I'm here this late.

Speed: I'm sorry you were inconvenienced by her.

Lori: *sigh* You know that's not what I meant. *puts down pen* Look I just...I have my own life now. I can't just throw everything away at the last minute for you guys. I'm sorry I faked my death, I'm sorry it was so wrong but I did what I had to do.

Speed: And what is that?

Lori: Ever since I was old enough to make the decision of what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, I felt I couldn't do it. Like I was being held back somehow. This was the only way I felt I could help the people I cared about. I grew up with these people.

Speed: Not by choice.

Lori: No. But it changed my life, they changed my life.

Speed: *nods*

Lori: ...The first two months I was here, a fourteen year old girl was shoved out of a moving vehicle by her pimp and then she was beaten by the people standing on the sidewalk. It was a bad area of town and she didn't seem to have a chance. They were fighting against an invisible enemy through a young defenseless girl. She was executed for trespassing. You call that justice?

Speed: ..No.

Lori: I found the guy who pushed her out of the car about a year later. He was sick, diseased, lying near a creek waiting to die. His muscles were eaten away so much by his own body that he couldn't even lift his head. I...Had always pictured this man to be a monster but he wasn't. He was a weak and frail human being. He was clearly suffering.

Speed: *stares at Lori*

Lori: So I shot him.

Speed: ...

Lori: I expected to save everybody but when I realized I couldn't, that's when the reality sunk in. Not everything is in my control, if anything, it's completely beyond what I'm capable of. I want you to know that leaving Miami was not a rebellious, stupid unrealistic plan for a better life.

Speed: So you expect me to forgive you or something? Just because you saw a man dying?

Lori: No. I don't need redemption from you. *stands, walks over to shelf* I just thought that if you understood, then you wouldn't be so pissed. *places books into shelf*

Speed: *stands* Well I'm angry.

Lori: Of course.

Speed: Do you know what you put your mother through? She was devestated and she didn't have to be. We would have understood if you wanted to leave.

Lori: No you wouldn't. You'd try to keep me in Miami, or you'd come after me here. I'm tired of being chased by a life I don't want.

Speed: I guess you made your choice then.

Lori: Yeah I guess I did.

Speed: ...I'm sorry.

Lori: *stares at Speed*

Speed: I'm sorry for everything. Every pain you've ever felt, ever tear you've cried. I'm so sorry.

Lori: ...

Speed: *looks down at floor* ...I can't be strong anymore.

Lori: *hugs Speed*

Speed: *starts to cry*

Lori: I love you, dad.

TBC..........

Oh...Holly. That's the one.

Oh wow, Valera Valera Velara... But Horatio is covering for her! Another reason why everyone loves him. :)

Alena is just so cute! *huggles* Poor girl thought, don't cry! *huggles*

Thanks for the update Geni! :D

*sobs* That was amazingly beautiful. Oh Speed. Oh Lori. I don't hate you anymore. You were still a bitch but I forgive you.

Go Super-H! He had a wonderful child talk again, reminds me of the good 'ol days like 'Body Count'...*sigh* That was amazing, I SO miss that H! I loved hearing him talk to Alena and I loved how he was the superhero again with Valera and I love how he and Eric interacted and I just LOVE him!

Oh Eric. SO happy you found Alena, I missed her so much! She's a great character. Very cute. Congrats on getting your daughter back Jess! COme on out and see her! She misses you!

Great update Geni, thank you thank you thank you and I can't wait for moooorrrreee. :D

Yeah, i noticed how Horatio didn't tell Frank to call 'E' and he didn't call Frank Francis. And how he kept on calling Alena 'sweetheart'. (Aww...)

Hunter, I don't love Horatio. ;)

Noo...Poor Valera. :( YAY ALENA!!!! *jumps around and huggles Geni* How cute between Eric and Alena and then :( between Lori and Speed. Sad, yet cute, yet...sad. :(

Awwww I miss Holly, she was a mini Lori. And gosh dang it, Geni. You just had to go and make that man cry didn't you? Gah that's another weakness. Poor Lori as well, I can't imagine what it must have been like to see all of those things.

YAY! Alena's been found and she's in one piece, thats good. Ya know I never would have thought that the crazy Eric Delko who ran around the woods in his underwear would be such a cute dad. lol.

I refuse to believe that Maxine is an actual guilty party in the kidnapping. I believe her when she says she didn't take the money. As I was reading the story and I saw 'Maxine' I was like "...please let there be another Maxine who works in the building. Please." lol. Anyways, great as always GEni. Keep up the great work.

Sorry if that review made no sense I'm extremly tired.
