Real Corpse Found on CSI: New York Set

well where im living at they said a body was found, but that was along time ago before i moved in. and im such a believer of ghost that preson has not left my house
just the other day my door was slamed in my face , but at least im never alone

he he... I love ghost stories and all those haunted mysterys and stuff. Like "The Black Dhalia" and "The Zodiac Killer" (I'm from the town he made his first kill at so its totally awesome!!!) I love that kinda stuff, and it helps that I love Halloween, which is just around the corner!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!

That would be so trippy to have found that corpse, I know at first I probably would have been 'prop, cool... lets touch it' and then obviously realise it wasnt a prop and be like 'oh sh*t its real, cool...' lol... It was probably a good thing that the actors werent there though.

Feenx - theres a mansion out in Beverly Hills (Greystone) and they film alot of movies out there its this old HUGE mansion. The story is the owner built it for his son, the dad died owing like thousands of dollars (this was back in the 40's/50's) and so, the story goes that one night the secretary was leaving and found the son dead in the study, shot in the back of the head - she left and called the police, they came and when they got there, he had been moved from face down, to face up, and the gun was never found. We went and walked around the other day while we were on shift, it was SOOOOO creepy and awesome, huge secret passages and it was just cool.

Can you imagine walking down a dark hallway and like bumping into a dead body?? dude what would you do? lol

^^^ so so true.

Feenx... stop stalking me.. lol everytime I post - you post.. get outta my shadow... lol

he he.

I dont know they said that they'd let anyone who was interested know when the M.E. figured it out. But, I dont work today, so maybe by tommorrow when I go in in the morning they'll have something about it.

I love when things like this come out in the news.
 i think we watch to much Csi:Ny cause you know what i meant by COD  well everyone know's what that means by now.

run the hell out of there, how do i know the killer hasn't left.

I'd be tempted to until I noticed the mummified part...if it was fresh I'd soo run like heck but the mummy aspect would probably fascinate me lol. (yes I'd know enough not to touch it btw)

^^^ I wish I was more like you - I grew up being a thorn in both my parents shoe... lol, if they said "Hey, dont touch that" I'd walk right over and touch it. LOL...

Feenx- Yeah, I know, I saw COD and I was like "heh, I know that" I seriously think we watch way too much CSI:NY. Yesterday we pulled up to the Emergency room, and I was giving the trauma team a rundown of what we had and I was like "The Vic is a 24 y/o male... blah blah" I felt so CSI-ish.. he he

Anyone else see the story on CBS news? Or was it just my local affiliate? Anyway, it was mostly what the article said, plus that COD was likely natural causes and he'd been dead as long as two months. At least there likely wouldn't be quite as much a decomp smell, 'cause eww.

ewww.. i wouldnt wanna smell decomp lol i bet its the worst smell ever ... i wonder what the cast think about the body being found?

goreshi, after reading what you wrote, I wanna say sorry if I seemed so stupid. I don't wanna be disrespectful, but maybe I sounded too much happy about discovering a dead body. :(
What I wanted to say is that I watched CSI since the beginning, readed Cornwell's books, and everytime my question is "what is it like to be near a dead body?".

I'm happy to read what happens to the body before and after they were used :)

yeah. Dead bodies are seriously the WORST smell in the world. When we've gone into the morgues its like "ugh!" but I've heard you get used to it, I still cringe every time I walk in.
