This week the entire CSI franchise came out of the ratings battle on top, with the original CSI beating Gray’s Anatomy by the widest margin of the season and CSI:Miami posting higher than normal numbers.
CBS won Monday night with a 9.1 rating/14 share, beating out NBC's 8.2/13. FOX came in third with a 5.8/9. CSI:Miami handily won it’s timeslot with the night’s largest audience, 12.2/20. NBC’s Studio 60 drew a 5.0/8 to beat ABC's What About Brian, 4.1/7.
ABC won Wednesday night with a 10.5 rating/16 share for the night, beating CBS' 8.8/14 and NBC’s 5.5/8. CSI: New York did its part for CBS with a 10.3/17, beating NBC’s second hour of the Medium season premiere, 6.6/11, and ABC’s Day Break, 6.0/10.
CBS won Thursday night, thanks in part to fantastic numbers from CSI. CBS averaged an 11.3 rating/18 share to beat out ABC's 10.5/16. NBC was a distant third with a 5.9/9. CSI scored an impressive 14.7/22 for CBS, beating ABC's Grey's Anatomy, 13.6/20, by its widest margin this season. NBC’s offerings proved no match for either. The Office, from 9:00-9:30, scored a 4.4/7, while the 9:30 timeslot fared even worse, 30 Rock with a 3.2/5.
