i havent seen all of season 5 and was wondering whatever happened with ryan's eye, did it finally heal and he's alright or is he still having problems with it?

It finally healed. 
I havent seen all of season 4, but in season 5 he seams to be fine

After much searching, I finally found it... episode 414, 'Fade Out' S4:
'Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Ryan Wolfe. His ophthalmologist, Dr. Medby, has examined him and determined that the previous infection treated with antibiotics left him with orbital cellulitis, an infection of the tissue behind the eye. He'll be put on Cephalexin with the hope that it has been caught in time. He has to quit work for the time being. If the new antibiotic doesn't work, then surgery is the next option. Should those methods fail, he could lose his eyesight. As Ryan clears out his locker at CSI, he can't help but slam his fist into the door with rage.'
