Watched this last night and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was the most interesting sounding of the new crop of fall shows. It handled the mystery a lot better than "CSI" has in years. I was caught off guard the first time they went from training to the bombing of Grand Central Station but figured out that they were bouncing back and forth between past and present.

I can't wait for the next episode and that hasn't happened often in recent seasons.

Matt's Inside Line
The Quantico twist that has me most curious so far is the twins (played by Yasmine Al Massri). Any scoop on what that is all about? –Meaghan
Nimah and Raina aka the twins-posing-as-one “were one of the very first things I thought about [when creating Quantico],” showrunner Josh Safran told me. And though the double take may seem far-fetched, Safran says, “It’s based on a KGB tactic that was used during the Cold War as a way to…. Um, I actually don’t want to say any more, because I was about to give it away! But you will discover why they were recruited, and it is very integral to the plot.”

ALEX LEARNS ABOUT HER FATHER WHILE IT'S HER MOTHER WHO NOW PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN HER FUTURE FREEDOM, AND THE RECRUITS PROFILE EACH OTHER'S STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES, ON ABC'S "QUANTICO"

"Cover" – At Quantico, Alex finally receives information about her father and his FBI past, but in the future it's her mother, Sita, who plays a key role when Liam convinces her to participate in a press conference on national television begging Alex to turn herself in. Also at Quantico, the NATS learn the art of profiling and focus on their classmates' strengths and weaknesses, ultimately challenging their confidence and comradery, on "Quantico" SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 (10:00–11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Quantico" stars Priyanka Chopra as Alex Parrish, Josh Hopkins as Liam O'Connor, Aunjanue Ellis as Miranda Shaw, Jake McLaughlin as Ryan Booth, Tate Ellington as Simon Asher, Johanna Braddy as Shelby Wyatt, Graham Rogers as Caleb Haas and Yasmine Al Massri as Nimah Amin.

Guest starring are Rick Cosnett as Elias Harper, Anabelle Acosta as Nathalie Vasquez, Anna Khaja as Sita Parrish, J. Mallory McCree as Charlie Price and Mark Pellegrino as FBI Director Clayton.

"Cover" was written by Jordon Nardino and directed by Jennifer Lynch.

Don't really know of any of the main cast but I've fallen in love with this show. Better yet, unlike "CSI" where you look at the guest cast list and know who did it I have no idea who the mole/terrorist is.

Quantico gets full season order

Alex Parrish just bought herself a little more time to find Quantico‘s true terrorist: The ABC drama has earned itself a full-season pickup, the network announced Tuesday.

The order for six additional episode will bring the full count to 19; an ABC rep tells TVLine that there’s a possibility that that order will expand.

The series’ premiere drew 7.1 million total viewers and a 1.9 demo rating, improving greatly on previous timeslot-holder Revenge‘s numbers. In Week 2, it was down only 3 percent in audience and matched the premiere’s demo number, and was the night’s highest-rated drama.

This past Sunday’s episode nabbed 5.7 million viewers and a 1.6 rating, doubling its lead in from Blood & Oil.

The Priyanka Chopra-fronted thriller, which follows FBI agent Alex as she tries to figure out who’s framing her for a massive terror attack, airs Sundays at 10/9c. It is the second freshman series this season to receive a full order, following NBC’s Blindspot.

While in the future, Alex continues to search for clues, finding one that questions the innocence of one of her closest classmates. But is her clue really what she thinks? No one is who they seem, on "Quantico," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Quantico" stars Priyanka Chopra as Alex Parrish, Josh Hopkins as Liam O'Connor, Aunjanue Ellis as Miranda Shaw, Jake McLaughlin as Ryan Booth, Tate Ellington as Simon Asher, Johanna Braddy as Shelby Wyatt, Graham Rogers as Caleb Haas and Yasmine Al Massri as Nimah Amin.

Quantico Enlists Anne Heche

Heads-up to Quantico‘s mad bomber: Anne Heche is coming for you.

ABC’s freshman thriller has recruited Heche to guest-star as Dr. Susan Langdon, a former FBI agent and medical examiner who is now a bestselling author and pundit. She returns to Quantico to lead a seminar on how to identify and catch serial murderers. Little does she know, there may be one lurking in her midst!

Heche, who is coming off USA Network’s one-and-done Dig, will make her Quantico debut later this fall.

Quantico has emerged as one of fall’s few breakout hits. Last week, ABC picked up the Priyanka Chopra-fronted drama for a full season.

Quantico EP Clues Us in on Whether or Not to Believe Simon's Story

Quantico‘s Simon may have lied about wearing glasses, adoring coffee and being gay, executive producer Joshua Safran says, but his tearful confession in Sunday’s episode was the real deal.

If you need a little catch-up: Elias intercepted Simon’s “boyfriend” Max and — before hooking up with him — ascertained that the new guy was just a friend of a friend Simon barely knew.

When the analyst confronted Simon and threatened to tell Quantico he wasn’t who he claimed to be, Simon admitted that he had spent time in Gaza — though as a member of the Israel Defense Forces and not as a volunteer, as he’d claimed — and the experience had traumatized him so much he’d invented a new personality for himself upon returning to the United States.

“I believe on this show, when somebody says, ‘I’m going to tell you the truth,’ it is a version of the truth,” Safran tells TVLine. “I know that’s funny, but what I mean is, when somebody doesn’t say, “This is the truth,” that’s when you can’t trust them.”

Which isn’t to say that we know everything about Mr. Asher, Safran cautions.

“What Simon Says to Elias, it’s not the whole truth, but it is the first time he has been real,” the EP says. “So while there are definitely pockets within there that he has obscured —which we will get to learn as we move forward — that’s not a false confession.”

Quantico Recruits Happy Endings Alum Eliza Coupe for 'Hardcore' Arc

Quantico‘s NATs soon will have another possible bomber top-notch agent in their midst: Happy Endings alum Eliza Coupe is joining the ABC drama’s cast, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Coupe’s Hannah Wyland graduated from the FBI academy seven years ago. Her ambition, combined with her looks and her confidence, has rocketed her past her competition in the intervening years. And then there’s this juicy bit, direct from the official character description: “She can turn on the soap, sex and romance, but at heart she’s a hardcore career agent with countless notches in her belt”?

Hannah first will show up in Episode 10, likely to air in early 2016; we hear the role comes with a series-regular option.

The part is a surprising turn for Coupe, who has built a career on comedic roles. In addition to Happy Endings, her TV resumé includes stints on Scrubs, Community and Benched. She recently appeared on The Mindy Project and Casual.

Coupe joins other Season 1 cast additions Jacob Artist, Anne Heche and Marcia Cross.

I'm watching, but behind. I only just watched the 2nd episode (On Demand). I'll pass on your Spoiler info for now...;)
