Thanks Tink. :D Congrats to everyone else too. There really were some lovely pics in there.

My sealion family photo was taken in NZ's South Island near where my brother lives. These guys are regulars at the beach and don't seem bothered by people at all (as long as you don't get between them and the sea). Mind you, the beach was so quiet and very beautiful. The final scene from 'The Chronicals Of Narnia' (where Aslan is walking along the beach) was filmed very near there. :)

such lovely beach pictures won! not that the others werent as stunning. im a sucker for animals so i loved the sea lion family :D i had one of a seal in hawaii but they have volunteers that rope off the beach as soon as one comes to sunbathe :lol: the yellow caution tape kind of ruins the the look of the picture
