Person of Interest Season 4 Trailer Teases Changed World, New Identities

“The world has changed,” declares… well, a mystery woman played by Cara Buono in the first trailer for Season 4 of CBS’ Person of Interest.

The Mad Men alumna bookends the preview — which premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con — appearing in scenes with In Plain Sight‘s Fred Weller. But it’s the video’s meaty middle that you came for, a thrilling melange of Season 3 highlights plus plenty of brand-new footage, including Sam and Root lying low in a chic department store, Elias looking none too happy to see Reese again, and Root warning Harold that a war is at hand, “so pick a side.”

After all, she notes, their enemy has endless resources, while Team Machine has… actually, that’s a line best experienced first-hand. Listen for it.

Person of Interest Casts Lie to Me Alum as Fusco's New Captain

There’s a new sheriff — er, NYPD police captain — in town, as Person of Interest Season 4 gets underway.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Lie to Me alumna Monique Curnen has landed the recurring role of Captain Felicia Moreno, Fusco’s latest (and hopefully not corrupt!) boss at the 8th precinct.

Moreno — who first appears in the new season’s third episode — is described as “New York-born and whip-smart,” and she will have her work cut out for her as the city’s homicide rate rises.

Curnen’s other previous TV credits includes roles on Revenge, Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist and CSI.

She played "Xiomara Garcia" in "CSI" - the gun expert that was in all of 3 episodes in season 12.

I looked it up - "Panopticon" is an architectural form for a prison!
 
PERSON OF INTEREST

PERSON OF INTEREST is a crime thriller about an ex-CIA agent and a mysterious billionaire who prevent violent crimes by utilizing an all-seeing machine that can predict the events before they happen. Although they have successfully prevented numerous crimes thanks to The Machine's omniscience, the team was unable to stop the malevolent artificial intelligence known as Samaritan from coming online. Brought to life by Greer, head of the private technology corporation Decima, Samaritan has the full power of the U.S. government behind it and is using those resources to hunt Finch and Reese, along with former government assassin Shaw and the hacker known as Root. The team has been forced to go underground to avoid being detected by Samaritan and Decima, leaving behind Det. Lionel Fusco, the sole member of the team unaware of the Machine's existence. Cut off from their resources and each other, the team must now find a way to lead unassuming lives while still protecting average citizens from the unseen dangers around them.
