I've used a spoiler code just incase anybody doesn't want to know about the book :)

IMO it doesn't get any better. It seems out of character considering the rest of her books have been very good. Maybe its the change from 1st to 3rd person that bothered me im not sure. It doesn't seem to come to a proper ending it just runs out of steam but that's just what I thought.

Does anyone know when her next Scarpetta novel is going to be released. I finished At Risk a couple weeks ago, and I'd recomend not reading it. It's only two hundred something pages and has a very thin plot with no real devlopment.

I've just started on Point of Origin. I haven't gotten very far yet, but so far it's good.

That is without a doubt the best Cornwell to date. Very emotionally intense, without scraficing any quality plot.

I just saw on Wikipedia that her next Scarpetta novel will be out in 2007 and is called Book of the Dead, hopefully if it's taken her ths long to write it will be of much higher quality than her last few. Aso this year she's going to be releasing a sequal to At Risk.

I finished that a long while ago, and I have to disagree I don't think it really gets better.

Read all the Scarpetta Saga :D but my favorite is From Potter's Field. It's great, perfect.
I don't like too much her last books, maybe because of the change in 1st to 3rd person. Dunno...

About Judy Hammer and Andy Brazil, I-love-them. Well, I love Andy  he's soooo hot...

Received At Risk for X-mas, can't wait to read it! :)
