To add icons on your LJ, there are generators:

Icon Generator

Banner Generator

You just add the direct links in the box and then add ; (don't space between icons/banners though) and you don't need the ; after the last icon/banner. For the banner you, you have to set it on multiple upload and then when you've listed all the direct links, click add. It'll generate a code for you. All you have to do is copy and paste that code into an LJ post window.

You might want to put the LJ cut code on there too. Start it above your icon table:

<lj-cut text "behind the cut or whatever text you want to appear>

then you put the banner tables under that and after you've pasted the banner tables, put:

</lj-cut>

It worked. Well, not your instructions exactly. I'm so bad with computers that no one can explain anything to me. It took THREE people to get me to understand. I got it to work XD Thank you, GNRFan.

For anyone with livejournal that uses an icon table generator. I use this one, I think it's a lot easier to use than the rest.

The thing I do to make it easier (I save all of my icons in one format) ;)

- Use Photobucket.
- Generate all the links
- Copy into notepad/wordpad etc.
- hit ctrl h to find and replace
- whatever format your pictures are in that's the extension you're looking for. For me, I save .png, which does not lose its quality when uploading to photobucket. That's what happens to a lot of icons saved in .jpg. Just a heads up :) * Search for .png (or whatever extension you saved it as) and replace with .png; ... but make sure you delete the last one.

Yeah, that's the same one I posted. For some reason it's got two different web addresses. :lol: I guess one's a backup in case the other goes down or something. :lol:

While we're on the subject (though I think I've asked this before, but I've forgotten), does anyone know how to get the thumbnail image of a wallpaper into one of those generators?

Actually, I don't think that is possible to do. The html of the thumbnail of the wallpaper would completely mess the layout up on the table. If I'm making sense.
 
Yay! DetHiggins more Doctor Who stuff! You couldn't make Doctor Who 1,2, and 7 into 140x140?? The linked 1,4 an 7! I love them! :lol:
 
I'm sorry, Hannah, I didn't make them before and they just wouldn't have the same effect bigger. For some reason I try to stay away from the bigger ones. Sorry :(

I made some more icons though. As I've been told they are thoroughly saturated. I like them though (and isn't that what counts? ;)) I have them on my LJ. Here's a preview.

Now if you go here (my lj) there are 27 Doctor Who icons (including these).
 
DetHiggins those icons are really great! I absolutely love the coloring and saturation! And yes, the most important thing is that YOU like your icons :)
 
DetHiggins: I love the saturation. I think it gives it a cool effect, probably wouldn't look as good without it. ;) But that's my opinion.

Ok don't worry DetHiggins i'll use the 100x100!

I have a little Request! Was wondering if anyone could make me some LOST Icons/Banners. I would like some of Jack and Kate together and some of them sepretally!

Icon size i would like 140x140! and obvisouly the banner is 220x75!:)
