Capitol Law is being described as, "the West Wing in a law firm," and is based on the book In the Shadow of the Law, by <font color=yellow>Kermit Roosevelt</font>. The pilot so far stars Dawson Creek's <font color=yellow>Joshua Jackson</font>.
[*]<font color=yellow>Melina Kanakaredes</font> (Stella Bonasera) will present at the Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund's 15th Anniversary Gala, which will honor CBS MarketWatch anchor <font color=yellow>Alexis Christoforous</font> and Fox-5 Meteorologist <font color=yellow>Nick Gregory</font>. The gala will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel on Saturday, May 13, 2006.
[*]<font color=yellow>Emily Procter</font> (Calleigh Duquesne) recently attended Gen Art's The New Garde Celebration of Innovative LA Fashion, and Emily Procter Online has images of her at the event. The website also has screen caps of the Miami episodes "Collision" and "Double Jeopardy."
[*]<font color=yellow>Marg Helgenberger</font> (Catherine Willows) will be featured in an upcoming issue of Midwest Today magazine, according to MargHelgenberger.com. The issue is due out on April.
[*]The Bellingham Herald has gathered a set of fact and fiction bits regarding what's accurate and what's not on CSI and its spin-offs. For example, on the shows medical examiners tend to calculate a person's time of death using physiological facts; in real life it is impossible do establish a time of death without a witness.
[*]eBay is now selling a bicycle that was given to the cast and crew of CSI as a wrapping gift for season 5. The bidding starts at $400 and the proceeds go to Environmental Charity.

[*]The CSI: New York episode "Necrophilia Americana" showcased the DataDot microdot technology. DataDots are grain-sized polyester discs that can permanently identify automobiles, vehicle parts, computers, electronic devices, collectables and a wide range of other valuable possessions.
[*]<font color=yellow>Hill Harper</font> (Dr. Sheldon Hawkes) recently asked the public to help him distribute his book Letters To A Young Brother: MANifest Your Destiny, which will be available for purchase in April. The book, Hill noted, will hopefully serve as an inspirational guide for young men. The actor wants the book to reach as many people as possible. "In one of my book pitch meetings with another publisher, I was told point-blank, 'Hill, please don't write a book for this population, we want to do a book with you, but please not this book, you are proposing a book for a population that doesn't read.' I AM ASKING YOU TO HELP ME PROVE THEM WRONG."
[*]Spike TV has announced that reruns of CSI: New York will start airing during the network later this year. The male-oriented network also promised it will show more action as part of its line-up. "Spike is an entertainment brand dedicated to men. We are a destination that will inspire and define men through bold, action-packed original entertainment. We feel our brand positioning and new logo reflect that, and are dedicated to helping our audience Get More Action," said Creative Director <font color=yellow>Niels Schuurmans</font>.
[*]Iofilm.com has reviewed the second part of the first season of CSI: New York on DVD. Reviewer <font color=yellow>The Wolf</font> praised the show for its complex characters. "All in all, CSI: NY rocks. For my money, it's better than Las Vegas and Miami. It feels more real, the characters are tremendous and the plots, although occasionally loopy, like the death of the human statue in "Crime & Misdemeanor", are consistently intriguing."
[*]According to Canadian TV ratings, CSI: Miami was the most watched show in the country for the week of March 13-19. The show also managed to beat two nights of American Idol 5.
[*]CBS recently penned a deal with Verizon Wireless that will give the phone company the right to carry the network's programming. “This deal expands the market for both Verizon and CBS. For us, it means we can offer our customers the tremendously valuable content provided by the CBS Television Network and local broadcast stations. For CBS, it means they can use the bandwidth and flexibility of our fiber network to reach their customers in innovative ways,” said <font color=yellow>Ivan Seidenberg</font>, chairman and CEO of Verizon.[/list]<center></center>
