The article, a reprinted version of which can be found on DavidCarusoFans.com, noted that one of these buildings was so intimidating, it was used as the setting for the horror film Section 9, starring David Caruso (Horatio Caine). [*]CSI: Miami showrunner Ann Donahue was quoted in a recent Hollywood Reporter article on super-producer Steven Bochco (Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Over There). Donahue worked with Bochco on Murder One, and praised his self-confidence: "He's a guy who doesn't tap dance. He's simple, straight and honest, and he demands the same from the people he deals with. That combination of calm confidence and brilliant storytelling is what got him where he is. That, and he's never forgotten his roots. He's this mega-big producer with his own building, but he's still the 21-year-old kid fresh out of Carnegie-Mellon who landed on the Universal lot. He still believes that at the end of the day, we're all just storytellers." Thanks go out to Al Forno for this!

I've read one of the translations, and Omg, they are so bad! I refuse to read them, rather buy the original English ones. I mean, come on... 'Oud Zeer'? Wtf is up witht that? (literaly translated it means 'Old Pain', and that doesn't even come close to Binding Ties.)

*grumbles*

Me, frustrated? Not at all, what gave you that idea? >__>;

They could have renamed Oud Zeer because Binding Ties is a play on words and the literal translation into dutch doesn't have the same play. I could sound more authorative on this if I'd paid more attention in my dutch lessons.

Interesting to know they are translating the books. Maybe I should get them with the dutch translation and then maybe I'd be more motivated to learn :D

Oud Zeer...just so stupid!
just keep the original titles!
have you seen the other translated titles! of the other books! they are as stupid as this one is!

on another NewsBullets:
In the Netherlands, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York will be moving to the television station RTL 5. RTL 4 will keep the original CSI.
WTF! why RTL5? I don't like rtl5!
they probably gonna air Reruns as always..
I'm am so sick of the Dutch tv networks! aaah
I hate them!!! the only thing they have to do is air and episode and then next week the episode who comes after it...
but they can't do that..
- 8 Simple Rules...first the Dad is still alive...then he's dead,,,and then they air the seas. where he's alive..!
- CSI:miami...Speed got shot...a few weeks later,,,Speed is alive
I f*cking hate the networks here!!!

alright
*calms down*

Well ... RTL 5 is not RTL 5. I know it sounds strange, but the current broadcaster, Yorin, will turn into RTL 5 in september and RTL 5 will become RTL 7. No, it's not my idea . Most of the show who are on Yorin right know will be shown on the new RTL 5, so their won't change much.

Yep, that's all we have. There won't be a RTL 6.

XDD it's all so confusing. Well, as long as I can still watch CSI, all is good. I just wish they'd never invented the 'zomer stop'. I want the rest of season 5! </whine>

lovesCSI: just keep the original titles!

Ah yes, my idea exactly. But then again, I still wouldn't read them, cause the whole translation sucks. (I still don't get how the translater could turn a 'bearclaw' into a 'gevulde koek'.) When I read the translation, it just didn't feel right. The whole mood was wrong, so I'll just stick with the original ones.
