New Actor To Join The Cast Of 'CSI'?

Ok so let´s hope it´s just an occasional lab tech. I mean I don´t think the show needs to replace Mia since it´s already overcrowded. But if they HAVE to add someone that´d minimize the damage.

This has gotto be some kind of nightmare.
CAST BLOAT !! CAST BLOAT !!

Warrick almost disappeared last season, now who do they want to add to their fade-to-the-backgroud list?..jeez
this is stupid. Why don't they give more screentime to our originals instead of adding more.

I agree. They need to focus more on the current cast. They might be pulling an ER though. Getting us to like the minor characters so when a major one leaves, they just bump that minor one up to a major one. I hate ER that way. It will never end...

No.

More.

I can't take them doing this anymore. They keep screwing CSI every other week. What happened to the CSI's we met in the beginning of Season One?

I just want things to go back to the old way. I miss the CSI I fell in love/obsessed with.

And that's the thing. If tptb think those characters are replacable, they're so wrong. I watch the show for the characters: Nick, Greg, Grissom, Cath, Sara, Warrick, Brass, Doc Robbins, and junior coroner SuperDave (sorry, I heart him). Someone mentioned ER. I stopped watching ER because of the revolving door. I hardly know anyone now!!

Well i havent read everything, but from what i read it's good too see David be part of the main cast, well that's what i think anyways lol i really like him@! :D

I don't see the point in adding another actor to the opening credits. It's just stupid. All the recurring characters are noted afterwards. Why add someone to the credits?

ctx :D

I don't like the idea, but from a business standpoint it makes sense. You know WP is out of the the second his contract ends, he's that disillusioned... and without him the show is at a major disadvantage. If they can get viewers tied to another character - any other character - then they can hope viewers will stick around for them. CSI:LV is still the granddaddy of them all, it's still the biggest moneymaker, and as long as they can see a way to squeeze cash out of it they'll replace characters and tinker with formula and invoke a witch-doctor and whatever else they have to in order to keep the show on life-support. As someone said above, money is the word here - not quality or fairness.

So I've decided that WP is my cut-off point. When he goes, I go. It's a matter of principle; I have them, even if CBS doesn't.

You know, I see this mentioned a lot and may actually incite flames here with my opinion about the possibility of WP leaving.

I just don't think WP is the entire show. I honestly tune in to see the other characters MORE then Grissom. I do admit, if WP does want to leave, the show needs to handle his exit carefully and I for one would like it for them to leave it so he could come back. But I hate it when people state that the show's success is all due to one actor. I think it could definately survive without him, if handled appropriately.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want WP to leave, but will not *stop* watching if he does. It's his decision, and the show should continue on IMHO.

I don't know why they need another cast member-the show is fine the way it is! CBS needs to realize that they need to stop messing around with what works, because they are going to drive the viewers away...but as long as CBS and Les Moonves are making money from it, they'll keep it going. As far as Billy goes, I agree that as soon as his contract is up he's gone...and, most likely, so am I...

I agree. Grissom (although not the only reason) is the main reason I watch the show. And not just because of my fangirl crush on him. Grissom is CSI. I doubt it would have come this far without him. Once he leaves, I'll just watch NY.

The only phrase that comes to mind is, "Dont fix what isnt broken." CSI is fine the way it is so they should leave it be before they mess it all up. We love our CSI....they shouldnt change because itll just get more cluttered then it already is. "Dont fix what isnt broken."
