Vanessa Ferlito (who played Aiden Burn on CSI: NY) will be a series regular in season 3. It's good to see Vanessa back on CBS. I loved Aiden back in the day, so it'll be interesting to see the character she's playing on NOLA. I was kind of surprised they were adding someone to the cast, but bringing in an FBI agent makes sense, since they had all that drama at the end of season 2.
CBS announced last week that Zoe McLellan won't be back for season 3. Here's the CSI Files article. It's disappointing, but I wish her well. We also never posted the premiere date in here--season 3 will premiere on Tuesday, September 20 at 10:00pm ET/PT. (Michael Weatherly's new show Bull is taking over the 9:00pm ET/PT timeslot, pushing NOLA back an hour.)
