Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Lindsey was finally out of court and ready to join them at the convention.
'I'm sooo glad to be out of there' she muttered to herself as she got into the cab. She told the cab driver where to go then slumped down in her seat and closed her eyes to try and block out all the hustle and bustle all around her on the streets. What startled her out of her concentration was the beeping of horns.
'What the...' she said to herself before looking out of the window 'Oh god no...' she moaned 'a traffic jam just what I don't need' she held her head in her hands and shook her head 'It's gonna take at least half an hour to get through this traffic ooooohhhh' she whined

when sophia heared flack answering, she was very happy. 'sophia here, i got a very suspicious man, he's walking with one hand in his jacket, constantly.. i don't think he has a gun, because when i asked him where the toilet was, he didn't run away.. i think he has drugs or something.. but it's our job to arrest him, i think.. sorry if i interrupted you in something important.. but please come down, i'm following him right now, and he's walking towards the exit..'

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Ryan is feeling awkward enough about the whole convention thing but then Speed comes over to Calleigh telling her he loves her. Ryan almost chokes on the air when he hears it. He can't believe Speed feels this way towards Calleigh, he knew they were close but not that close. Then out of no where Sara asks him to join her for some coffee. He agrees because he doesn't want to be alone again in this place, plus Sara seems very nice and he heard she is a great CSI, so she'll be interesting to talk to. They start walking away from the crowd." So where can we go for coffee? I don't know where anything is around here." Ryan asks Sara as they walk along side by side.

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

More blowing horns more people swearing more people shouting. 'God help me' she murmered Lindsey was at the moment on the verge of becoming claustraphobic this noisy traffic was driving her apsolutely bonkers. 'Whats the hold up!' she finally screamed  'It's a family of ducks crossing the road miss' the driver answered with a strong brittish accent. 'Uuuuuuggggghhhhh' she groaned
'We should be at the convention soon miss' the Driver told her 'Ah here we go'
They were finally on their way to the convention sucess she thought. When she finally got to the convention it was throwing it down and she didn't have an umbrella she ran inside when she got in she was soaking wet she gasped for breath and put her hands on her knees as a sign of defeat.

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Sara tells Ryan that there's a little coffee shop in the lobby of the hotel, so they head there. Once they order their coffee and sit down, Sara says, "I noticed you looked a little uncomfortable when Speedle showed up and started getting all romantic on Calleigh, so I thought I'd whisk you outta there. I'm glad you agreed, gives me the chance to get to know you. Calleigh's told me a lot about you. How's your eye, by the way? She mentioned you had a nasty run-in with a nail gun recently."

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Calleigh was completely shocked when Speed told her he loved her. She always thought they had something, but it was so out of the blue. And why did he tell her now?

"Speed..Wow." She didn't know what to say. She had thought of her and Speed together, but it was too soon. She wasn't ready to let anyone in at the moment. Calleigh just got out of a relationship with Jake. Once again, it didn't work out. She didn't want to get hurt again. She didn't want to break Speed's heart, but she was protecting her own. "I'm sorry but... I just can't right now." She saw the look of dissapointment on his face. "I'm sorry.. I'll see you around." She walked to her right, not sure where she was going. She just wanted to be alone. Calleigh didn't know if she agreed with the decision she made.

[Sorry Speed!! :( But, Calleigh is confused..Maybe she really does love him.. Hmm]

oooh ok I'll go with that. I didn't mind that plotline at all, the dreams.

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Stella followed Mac to his room, She was wondering what was going on, She glanced at him several times, seeing his facial expressions trying to get into his head, but didn't get anything from it.

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Speed lightly grabbed Calleigh's arm before she left.

"Calleigh...I didn't want this to make things awkward. Trust me, I understand completely if you just want to be friends. I just had to let my feelings be known. And if there is even a tiny place in your heart for me, I'll be here. If it grows into something more, no matter how long it takes, I'll be here. I'll leave you alone now."

Speed took one last smiling glance at Calleigh and realized he was still holding her arm.

"Sorry."

He let her go and then walked up to his room closing his eyes and lying on his bed thinking of what had just happened.

Flack went quickly to the place Sophia described, shutting his cell and placing it back into his pocket as he met up with her, though keeping a few feet away and just keeping eye contact. Flack followed her gaze to the man she was tailing, nodding a bit. The guy certainly seemed suspicious, but what he had in his pocket was remaining unseen.

Danny's gaze drew across the crowd and he spotted Lindsay basically soaking wet and tired. He walked over to her chuckling. "Havin' a bad day, Montana?" he asked.

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

"I was talking with Hawkes, and he's got me totally confused." Mac told Stella. "Has he...I'm having a hard time believing him, but he said that he *raped* you. Please tell me it isn't true." he said. "If he's just having psychological problems and it's in his mind, we can get him the help he needs...he did say that he's attracted to you and that since his ordeal, something's going on in his mind..., but if he actually *did* anything, it could get very messy."

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

when sophia saw flack, she still followed the man, walking towards the exit. she made a 'let's get him' sign to flack, and then began to walk faster to the suspicious man, who was almost stopping at the exit..

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

Ryan sits down across from Sara in the coffee shop and right away she starts talking, which made him feel so much better. When it came to work he’s not shy about going up to strangers talking to them about the crimes, but when it comes to personal life he seems to draw a blank when it comes to conversation.

”Yeah, wow! Speed and Cal, I didn’t see that coming. Thanks for getting me out of there, the last thing I want is to get caught in between them either way that goes.”

He rolls his eyes around the room seeing if anyone else has made it to the convention. Then she asks about his eye. He puts his hand up to his eye touching it,” yeah, running into a nail gun is not good. I had some troubles with an infection right after it happened but now it’s good.”
He drums the table with his fingers,” I heard one of your guys got kidnapped and buried alive and no one could find him, that's crazy. How is he doing?”

Re: Murder at the Convention: ALL CSI:'s (An RP)

"Nick's doing okay. I'm surprised he hasn't shown up yet. I think basements and bunkers might give him the creeps for a while. Can't say I blame him. But he's a tough guy. He'll pull through just fine," Sara said. Ryan smiled and Sara just about melted into her coffee cup.
"Y'know, about Calleigh and Speed, if it's any consolation I know how you feel. Sometimes it can be really frustrating trying to get the attention of someone you like. I've been working really hard to get the attention of one of my co-workers, well my supervisor really. And he doesn't seem to know what he wants. Then there's Greg, who's our newest CSI. He's had a crush on me for as long as I've known him, yet for whatever reason I just see him as Greg, nothing more." Sara stops, realizing she's probably spilled out too much of her personal life, a big no-no when you're trying to impress someone.
