I thought that those of you who make other artwork about other shows etc would like to join this LIMS. I'll try to keep everyone's interests in mind as I choose the themes for each challenge.

So how about some ...

- Sign Ups
- Ideas for TV Shows
- Ideas for Movies
- Ideas for any bands/singers
- Ideas for actresses/actors
- If you have any other ideas, post them here as well :)
* Just keep in mind there will probably be way to fit in everyone's ideas, but we could always use them for the second one, according to how this one goes ;)

LIMS simply stands for last icon maker standing.

Rules:

* If you want to participate, please sign up by placing a comment in this thread.

* You can only submit one icon per round, using only the screencaps provided.

* Each participant will receive one free pass (if something comes up and you are not able to enter, just pm me saying you would like to use yours).

* In each round, the icon makers with the least amount of votes will be voted off.

* One icon will receive a Challenge Runner's banner ... I really need to come up with a catch name, huh?

* In every round, in addition to voting for three of least quality, everyone will be asked to vote for their favorite icon as well, and the winning icon will receive a Voter's Choice banner.

* Anyone and everyone may vote in the LIMS.

* More specific details will be posted with each round The first round will be posted when we have enough people signed up.

* But most importantly have fun and let the comments help you improve your icon skills.

As for ideas for themes --

-ones that as many people as possible know would probably be best. So, of that sort:

-Harry Potter
-Beatles
-Sports stars
-American Idol
-starlets
-As much as it pains me to say this, the Disney channel is pretty big, including Miley Cyrus, et al. Zac Efron is very pretty...
-Justin Timberlake
-rock bands
-I'm not sure if this would be appropriate, but politics? I've seen some very nice Obama themed icons. Being from DC, the first family will always have my favorite celebrities, and Michelle has such fab style.
-Friends
-Simpsons
-Cartoons
-CSI stars in other roles
-SNL
-event-themed (i.e. Oscars, Emmys, etc.)
-perhaps icons making fun of the villainy that is Grey's Anatomy?
-emo-rock bands, since those seem pretty popular in fanart
-oldschool music
-90's music/stars

We should get an advertising banner for this challenge. I might be wrong, but it seems like it might be more difficult to get as many people since this isn't in the Fanart forum.

I'm thinking that I will close sign ups when I have 20 entrants. I hope that we'll get enough to have a competitive yet fun game. Thanks everyone for the sign ups so far ;)

I might join, but I think I'd rather know what I'm going to have to make icons of before I say yes for sure.

Do you think we'll know before all of the participants are in, or after? I just don't want to be stuck making icons I have no interest in whatsoever. :/

I do like a lot of the suggestions in happyharper's post. My favourites are probably Harry Potter, American Idol, rock bands, Simpsons and SNL. :lol:

As much as I hate it, I know a lot of people love it, so I'm suggesting Twilight. :lol:

I'm definatly doing Twilight/Supernatural because that's two things I know a lot of people on the site follow;) but I won't know for sure until I see how many entrants I have then I can set something up so I have a balance of themes between tvshows/movies and other things in general. So should I put you in a maybe category?
