    09 - the icon looks streched and a little blurry
    14 - the face and the background have the same colour, the icons is too yellow, blurry

    BesT:

    05 - love the colouring and the text fits nice together with the pic
    18 - like the natural look and the good cropping

    9 - Cute idea...the coloring and sizing are a little off.
    14 - I like the technique on the face, but the background doesn't go well with it.

    23 - Simple and pretty with nice coloring.
    5 - Unique and different...stands out from the rest.

    11 - The crop isn't that good, half of her hand is missing. Other than that the image is a bit plain, it looks like there's nothing really done to the cap.
    04 - It's still quite dark and misses contrast. Also, the text is too big and the colouring makes it kinda distracting.

    Best:

    20 - The colouring in the avatar is very good, especially if you look at the cap which was very green. The crop is also very good.
    05 - The cap was very bland but the colours in the avatar are nicely saturated. The font and colour of the text fit nicely with the overall image.

    09: It seems like not much was done to this one other than cropping and adding text. The colouring is very dull.
    03: Again, not much done to this one. It's also a bit blurry

    09 - The colouring is somewhat dull and it looks kinda stretched.

    14 - The face blends too much with the background, there is no difference between where one ends and the other begins.
    3 - There isn't much contrast between where the face ends and the background begins; grainy.

    See I told you I'd be first to go. :lol: I was gonna drop out if I passed anyway. :lol: I wasn't gonna enter to begin with, but then the first challenge was Supernatural and I couldn't resist... damn those Winchesters for being so appealing. :lol: No worries though cause I knew it was gonna happen and was prepared. I did think about dropping out when I couldn't get anything to go right with the icon, but I didn't want to leave Nikki with an uneven number of entries. :lol: I guess by my not dropping out, I saved someone else from being kicked out... so there lies the silver lining. :lol:

    I did read all of the critiques though (thanks for the those by the way :) )and I went back to edit the icon several times over at least a three day period (these last few days) trying to fix it and still could not get a desired result. It got too stressful, so I gave up. :lol: I do have questions, but I'll take those to the fanart criticism thread in the Members Lounge (cause I want to post other versions and see if there's an improvement).

    Anyway, thanks for the critiques. :)

    Oh and Nikki, I love the banners. The text on them look so awesome. Did you use different fonts for different letters? Or just different sizes to make them look that? It looks really cool. :)

    Good luck on the next round, everyone. :)

    Congrats to H_Miami_fan and fo_poozle for getting viewers choice and seriously wicked awards. :) And congrats to everyone else who made it through to round two. :D

    The only guideline to this challenge is that the color red should be used in anyway you see fit. It can be in a brush, texture, text etc, you may also use selective colorings to make the reds pop out, the choice is completely yours :)

    If this is too many caps, let me know. I just want to cover various horror movies, so everyone can pick one they'd like ;) Someone suggested doing old black/white horror movies but I know not everyone watches those and it was really hard to find the caps that I did find.

    ~ If you wish to use your free pass for this round, you MUST send me a PM to let me know. Otherwise it won't count, and you will be disqualified.
    ~ The deadline for submissions will be Sunday June 14th, 2009 11pm -4 gmt . No extensions will be given.
