thats a super cute pic thumpy. :) she's so adorable. i really wish natalia would be transfered to new jersey or something and they made valera a regular. (not that i hate natalia...i just like valera more and they can't have both as regulars)

We were asked if a new thread could be started and since the other had laid dormant for so long we decided it was time for a new thread. Besides, not long before we were asked if a new Tyler thread could be started for the same reason, so it didn't seem fair to allow it for Tyler but not for Valera. Hence...the new thread. ;)

As for the thread title, since we now know Valera's not the mole if anyone has any suggestions for a new thread title, we could change it...provided vegaslights doesn't mind, of course.

I'm new at this board but I saw this thread and HAD to reply.

I love Valera! She's so funny. I think it's funny in "Hard Time" when she gives the DNA results to Calleigh and Calleigh says something about a mystery woman. Valera says, "That's good, but she's still mystery woman." Calleigh gives her a weird look and she says something snappy and walks out. It's so funny.

And I recently saw the episode "Come As You Are". The way she asked Natalia if she was mad - AWWWW! "Are you mad?" Natalia's reaction was also good. "Not....at you." She kind of hesitated.

I hope she's back in Season 6 because she's awesome!

I'm kind of new to CSI: Miami fandom and I have missed a lot of the newer episodes - but are Valera and Natalia supposed to be friends? I got that impression from a few episodes I saw, but it others I didn't.

No, they're not really. Natalia is new, and for a long time Valera disliked her for being a mole. Valera and Calleigh are friends, but she's a bit stand off-ish with Natalia.
