Mac/Stella #14 - Cause you can't fight the inevitable!

Hi family! Debbie, Steph, Lori and everyone else!!


I have finally watched the epi, and I loved it!

I don't really think the scene with Mac, Stella and Sheldon in Mac's office looked like a fight. Actually that was a VERY SMACKED scene. :drool:
They were just talking, and, at most, I would say Stella was advising Mac, nothing else. I loved the scene, because when Mac said "Oh come on,you know that I know that" it was like he was admitting they are very intimate, as Stella can even read his mind, there's no need to speak... :drool: and HE KNOWS THAT FOLKS, YES, HE KNOWS! And the best yet: she said the she knew that he knew that she knew!!! :drool:

After THAT scene, I'm not really craving for a make up any more. Mac and Stella can have a fight a day, they'll be just fine 5 minutes after. It's just like when you argue with your brother or your husband. You say things, you yell, you say the "F***" word and all, but oh you don't need to "make up". You'll be just fine after a couple of minutes. Because it's people you love. You can fight, because you'll love each other anyways.

Also when Stella said that "people can't just turn off their emotions when somthing horrible happens" -> Ok, I have a gut feeling about that (oh boy, I watch too much NCIS hehe). I guess THAT EXACT LINE might be something Mac will remember later when Stella is in danger because of the greek guy. I mean, if Stella gets in trouble (say she "disappears", for instance, in her pursue after Diakos), CSI will have to process evidence in order to find Stella. Well then: shouldn't MAC HIMSELF BE called OFF THE CASE because it would involve Stella, who is close to him? I bet he would resist to leave the case, and he would therefore remind Stella's line - "people can't just turn off their emotions when something horrible happens", and I bet he will then break all protocols to save her. :drool:

I guess I don't need to say I LOVED THE END!!!! AHHHHHH!!! :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:


I was disappointed with MAC/HAWKES "powerful conversation", because Harper said BOTH would say things personal, but only Hawkes did. But on the good side, I guess Hawkes was hinting Mac about a lot of things, which he might also remind later when Stella is in danger.


I'm not sure if they were going home togheter. I had the impression they were about to bend the corner of the corridor when Sid called them. Plus, Stella wasn't carrying her handbag. So she couldn't be going home. OMG! I have just come to the most baffling realization ever (nothing to do with smacked, really,hehe): THE LADIES ON TV NEVER CARRY A HANDBAG! :lol:
Do they? Does any woman on TV carry a handbag? That's so unrealistic!


P.S.: I guess I might like the she-nit, in case it presented us with some gooooood jealousy scenes.

It seems we'll have a little smacked on it, as the first glimpse shows Mac and Stella.

- when the team discussed the case in the conference room. Mac simply said "Stell!" and she answered "I here you, Mac". No other words needed, they could read the other's mind. :adore: :adore:
- when Mac told Stella don't defend. I could see Stella's sadness in her eyes. They both understood what Hawkes felt. Stella wanted to try although the evidence was circumstantial. Mac wanted to help too but he needed to nail the guy without any doubt.
- I looove how Sid say "you two have any plan?" It sounded like they usually have plans after work. :adore: :adore:
- the scene with Mac and Stella stood in the subway while Sid buying coffee was simply adorable. I mean without Sid in the picture.

Damn, Stella kicks ass! I think that anyone who tries to cross her will have to think twice... but I would have loves to have seen a scene where Mac faces the culprit in the interrogation room about attacking her. Maybe it was edited out... *pokes TPTB*

Though the scene where Mac talks about fate is giving me food for thought. I think he may have been hinting something to her but Sid interrupted before she could catch on. But I did love when they were sitting side by side in the subway... by the way, is it just me, or did Stella attempt to touch Mac?

Awww, poor Sid! In one way he gave us Smacked (the 'you guys have plans? thing) but in another way he got in the way of it.:lol: Very interesting that they were leaving together. We've seen them do that before, even before the whole possibility of her living with him came up in 4.16. They left together in Rain, and in Consequences. I wonder whether he walks her to her car/the subway/a taxi, and if he does, how sweet and protective is that?:adore: Or maybe they always go for a coffee or drink after work, which is really sweet too.:adore: Now of course we have the possibility they are either living together, or if Stella has her own place (odd that she hasn't mentioned it, and none of the team has though, no one's said 'How's your new place?', and I really doubt she would live in a hotel for this long....makes me think she's with Mac!) maybe she lives on his side of town now, and sometimes they give each other lifts or share a cab or ride the subway together.:adore:

Well, we already saw him work her case with All Access. But that was when he knew she was 'safe', even if she was hurt. If she was missing, poor Mac would be losing it! But he'd fight to stay on the case and save his Stella.

IMO, It's odd they haven't mentioned Stella was looking for a new place. I mean that's something big, it takes a lot of time and luck to find a good place to live, and they just didn't mention it? Even though I WANT TO BELIEVE they're living togheter, I'm just too skeptical. Bur hey they living on the same side of town ois a good alternative, and I think it's very likely that Stella did indeed spent some time at Mac's while looking for a new house.

Yeah They're so perfect they're beyond any make up already. But still, if we're havving a make up indeed, i guess it will happen either on 5.16 or 5.17, because next epi is Flack's, and on 14 and 15 well have the darn she-nit. And on 5.15 they will be too much of a lot going on really, i guess there will not be time left for make up. Remeber on 5.15 we're supposed to have:

3. The end of the Ella arc.
4. Danny helping Stella in the Diakos Case
6. Mac playung the boss on Danny and Stella.

So, it seems Mac will be pretty busy during the whole epi. That's why I bet on a make up on 16 or 17 (the marriage epi)

Yeah i thought of that too (All Access), and I guess it's odd, because he's so close to Stella and anyone could prove that, and therefore question the reliability of the evidence. I remember an episode from CSI LV where Grissom testified in court, and the lawyers questioned the presented evidence because it had been processed by sara, who (they implied) had a fling with her boss Grissom. Notice that: that episode was WAY BEFORE GSR had started "for real", if you know what I mean, and Grissom and sara didn't even hang out togheter. Yet, it has been implied they had a relationship. Now how about Mac and stella? they're togheter all the time! All a deffense lawyer would need is acouple of pictures of them toghter alone, and the damage would be done. Of course, in Stella's case the perp was her boyfriend, and he was dead, and it was a pretty obvious case of self deffense. But in case it was something else, it might not have been that easy.

You know what, I need to know where the TV ladies buy those heels! Heels that never break, never slips into any crack in the pavement and hurt your ankle, and it gives it's users the ability to run super fast. :lol:

I forgot to say this before: I was disappointed the scene where Stella says "Some women dream their whole lives about this killer dress" was an edit. I ssoooo wanted Mac to be in it. Well, at least we had a smacked promo. :lol:

i'm lost but how do we know it's the final of Ella's arc. We know it will happen with She Nit but not with the Psycho Ella. regarding the make up scene could happen in 5.16 because one of the storylines is Stella being affected by the case. I trust

I guess it was the most smacked episode in season 5 so far.
Sure he'll be mad at her for disobeying him but i guess he already knows she's not obbeying him, I mean c'mon, he knows Stella!
He just pretends he doesn't know Stella's disobbeying him, so he'll postponing the next argue until it becomes inevitable.
And hey, even if he gets mad at her, I don't think there will be much time for arguing because Stella will be in danger. And after she's safe, he won't even remember she disobeyed him, he'll just remeber she's safe and back to him. :drool::drool::drool::drool:

If Brazil was ever mentioned for something not involving worms, tropical diseases or it's banditism, I probably would be thrilled. Sadly that's our reality, and I'm not much of a patriot. But I really love it when they mention Argentina. :bolian:

Karu, I'd also have to loved to have seen a scene with Mac interrogating the perp about why he attacked Stella, that would have been so awesome. I can imagine that Mac would have been very angry...

No such luck though... but it makes good fodder for fanfiction. Now we just need to figure out the bare bones of it all-- what Mac's gonna say and do, is Stella gonna find out what happened... and what else? Anyone have any ideas?

I was thinking he could perhaps have that old photo of Stella in the blue uniform. You know, that one that partly burned in RND. Because if Stella stayed at Mac's place for a while, she might have forgotten the picture there... so Mac secretly has her photo

Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time, but I've been 'busy' with being sick and studying, but here I am now =)

On the new episode: I loved it. Even though I would've loved it even more if we had gotten a re-union scene it was good. When Sid asked Mac & Stella if the had any plans he referred to them as a couple, he didn't ask like 'Are you free tonight Stella...and how 'bout you Mac?" he asked it THEY had any plans. And when they were sitting at the station there was this little moment, not even a second when Stella bent her head in Mac's direction I thought she'd lean herself on him :adore:...but she didn't....
I also loved when they were together on the case and again in Mac's office..I can't quote it, but that conersation they had about Sheldon was so so so nice =).

I also think Mac and Stella have a pic of the other in their wallet. Plus I'm pretty sure they have lots of framed pics in their apartments from different events....

Ok so here comes my new theory about Mac and Stella, they are like yin and yang indeed and they are also more than this, of course we had that. I think their job is pretty stressful and pretty much their life. So I suppose they only have friends who have a similar job. Also it's ovibous that the job is extremely important for them...and who's the one they are working the closest with?? exactly Mac in Stella's case and the other way round...so there's no doubt that they are more that just best friends..Hello??? How can you NOT see that??

Gosh that would be so cute. :adore: As for their appartments, I bet that they both have pictures of the team, but specifically ones of them together... Gosh, that would be adorable too, I'd love to see them having a picture of the other beside their beds... But like CSINYAddict said, they need the real thing, and sooner rather than later...

Oooh, Mac's lap and then his bed are definitely the next step up from the desk/chair. Here's eaa little scene...
Stella and Mac are in Mac's office, with the blinds drawn, they're talking about some case.
Mac: 'Stella, aren't you a bit uncomfortable on the desk?'
Stella: 'Yes, but where else can I sit?'
Mac *naughty smile*: 'How about here?'
Mac wraps his arms around Stella's waist and pulls her down onto his lap. Stella laughs and wraps her arms around his neck.
Stella: 'Mmmm, this is much more comfortable. Thank you, Mac,'
Mac: 'Well, I couldn't resist with you dressed like that. You dress like that just to tease me, don't you?'
Stella *wicked smile*: 'Yep. But you know me, Mac. I love teasing you. But I've had enough of that for now...'
Her hand moves to the back of his neck and she strokes it softly, as she kisses him passionately. Mac kisses her in the same way.
Door opens, Hawkes comes in.
Hawkes : Oh, my....Well, it's about time, I guess.
Hawkes sneaks out.

nice little scene:devil: nice reaction from Hawkes, beth if it was Danny or Don that had walked in on them they would have told the secret the minut they had been out of the office:lol:

Then again, they are mature so they just focused on the case. I love how Stella always is the one to calm Mac down! No one else can do it properly! I am referring to the scene where she is telling Mac "you can't expect people to turn off their emotions." She helps him snap back to reality! Now Sid unintentionally did foil their plans, I guess we were all expecting Mac to say "Actually, Stella and I....."
