Well Debbie, as for how many kids Mac and Stella would have, I think 2... I'd love to see them with a boy first and then a little girl, whose older brother would be very protective of her... I think that would be so cute. I think the little girl would look like Stella and the little boy like Mac, I can imagine a Mommy's boy and a Daddy's girl. They have a stubborn streak like both of their parents, but they'd also be creative, hard working and very well behaved, although they'd also have a little mischief. Aww, they would have such great kids. I'd love to see them with a family. :adore:

well, the first 5 episodes were the "anticlimax" of Smacked despite of there were certain good scenes but it was all fixed up later in 5.06. Right now i have as my current wallpaper the Sid, Stella and Mac pic. And yep i had that "Time's up" feeling:thumbsup: Oh God, i want so hard another ending like that.

Hiya guys! I had a CSI NY afternoon today, watched two episodes - Rain and Taxi which I love because they're both great Smacked episodes.
I love the 'desk' scene in Taxi, and also how Mac turns to Stella for advice. What I mean is, in that scene where he, Stella and Quinn are in that room with the big computer screens, watching Reed post on his blog while being held by the Cabbie Killer. When Reed writes 'I'll call her 'Claire'' Mac stares at the screen, then looks down, and then he looks at Stella, and it's like he's looking at her for help because he feels so lost hearing Claire's name. He wants her reassurance. Same thing happens a bit later, just after the scene where Mac is hurrying between Danny/Lindsay/Hawkes working on various evidence from Reed's abduction and trying to find him, he enters that room again and Quinn and Stella are there. He asks how come if they have so much technology, they can't find Reed, and he looks at Stella when he asks that, again like he's looking to her for support. He really seems on edge and close to losing it after Reed is taken, and it's Stella he seeks reassurance from. And rather than processing evidence, she's right there with him. You can see from her eyes in both these scenes how much it hurts her to see him hurting too. :adore: Then when they go to the place where the Cabbie Killer has Reed, Stella calls Mac over the radio and says 'I need you now Mac' and straight away he heads to her! And we see her fear when she says her hand is too small to cover the gash in Reed's throat. I've hardly ever heard Stella sound that frightened, and when she is, it is Mac she needs, Mac she shows her fear too. And then he shows his fear when he begs Reed not to die on him, and Stella gives him such a soft, concerned look.:adore: Finally, we have the fact that neither Quinn nor Jordan know about Reed, but Stella knows how old he is, that his job is his first one, and she seems to know his personality well too - when she shows how well she knows Mac when she tells him not to let his pride get in the way etc, she shows she knows Reed too - that he wouldn't reveal his source 'cause he got mad. Makes me think Mac talks to her a lot about Reed, maybe they've even met.
Throughout the ep, Stella's very gentle with Mac too. Even when she's scolding him about his fight with Reed and telling him not to let his pride get in the way, she's gentle and concerned rather than pissy. She's like a wife calming her husband down, and she does calm Mac down - who else can do that? And of course, she looks back like she wants to make him remember what she said, but also like she wants to check he's okay. I think she must have been quite worried about her Mac this ep, what with all the strain he was under with the Cabbie Killer case.
Oh, and an OT point, Hawkes does not like Jordan! When she comes to that brewery place, he gives her the briefest glance then looks away, then when she starts being pissy about the mayor and Mac not telling her about Reed, he gives her this cold/pissy look too.:lol: It's funny, 'cause we hardly ever see Hawkes show dislike for people. Maybe he doesn't like her threatning Smacked!
Then in Rain...wow, great ep. Gooey conversation, and some great little looks and smiles. Here, I bring pics...

Mac *naughty smile*: 'How about here?'
Mac wraps his arms around Stella's waist and pulls her down onto his lap. Stella laughs and wraps her arms around his neck.
Stella: 'Mmmm, this is much more comfortable. Thank you, Mac,'
Mac: 'Well, I couldn't resist with you dressed like that. You dress like that just to tease me, don't you?'
Stella *wicked smile*: 'Yep. But you know me, Mac. I love teasing you. But I've had enough of that for now...'
Her hand moves to the back of his neck and she strokes it softly, as she kisses him passionately. Mac kisses her in the same way.
Door opens, Hawkes comes in.
Hawkes : Oh, my....Well, it's about time, I guess.
Hawkes sneaks out.

I miss those too. I also miss those lovely moments where they tease or joke with one another, or talk out their cases. Eps like Rain and Taxi show that EP can write great Smacked scenes when they want, eps that don't intrude on the procedural aspect of the show at all (both those eps were great cases) and which are good for character development. Let's hope they remember that soon. Jeez, we should send them an s1 boxset to help them remember how good and simple Smacked scenes can be!

You're right, Mac has become a lot less well behaved and rigid about the rules now, so maybe he will misbehave with Stella.:drool::devil: Ditto for Stella. She's always been one to bend/push the rules a little as Melina pointed out in the CSI NY magazine interview, so she'd be willing to push the rules a little too...
Hey guys I read over on the spoiler thread....
Someone asked Ausiello if it was against NYPD rules for 2 detectives to be married and work together still (referring to D/L's thing in 5.17) and apparantly John Dove (part of EP) who used to be in law enforcement said there's actually no rule about married couples working together. I guess there's still problems when cases go to trial though. But when I read that, it made me think about Mac and Stella, not Danny and Lindsay!
I know in other CSIs people got in trouble for dating, but it must be different rules for different states/departments I guess.

call me crazy but i think producers did think about pairing up Adam and Stella and later being separated by Sam. At some point they changed their minds (Thanks God) I'm happy because these two characters i love are ok with the great friendship they have and they haven't been ruined!:bolian:

Also when Stella went to his office asking for his meeting with Reed they argued as a married couple. Actually i read comments on internet about this. They clearly said "hubby and wife arguing abuout their kid"
And they looked like a family. Because when they tried to save Reed's life they looked like "The sacred Family " painting (we should re post that pic to enjoy it:drool:

I love Stella's face when Mac teasing/flirting with her when they examined the edge of the note pad, and she said 'gooey, good choice of word'. As for the 'sitting on the boss's desk' scene, it was ONLY for Stella. I don't understand why they gave us such an intimate moment and ruined it completely in the early eppys in S5.

I've watched the start of s3 and omg I'm in love with it. :thumbsup: There's been some really cute scenes! I'm loving it, but now my best friend is making me wait for her to come over to watch the rest. I was telling her all about the scenes on the phone and she went crazy! I'm just hoping maybe the writers will look back and realise what a good thing they had going, and bring it back in!

There kind of is a crack between them before the subway scene. When Mac is yelling at Sheldon about non-usable DNA, Stella is there. And after when she says something like "It's hard to control your emotions when someone you love is being attacked". And Mac is all like "That's why I pulled him off the case." Then he leaves and she has a really sad look on her face. SHE WAS HINTING SOMETHING! I think that Stella was hinting to the fact that when she was attacked, Mac didn't care very much at all but when the other Mac Taylor was found, she drove like a maniac. That's what I think.

I plan to see it again later today because I download onto my pc so if I miss anything or have to verify somthing I will add later! Well now it was a good eppie and Mac and Stella had some conversation. But I noticed after they were all talking when Mac got up he put his hand on Stellas back! But my favorite thought which is (I still think they live together) has been just enhanced that much more because once again at the end of the day it seemed Mac and Stella were leaving together (to go home I hope to the same place!!!) I will watch closer in a little while and report back!!!
