Hi family! We got disappointed again, too sad!
Regarding their fight in last eppy, I remember in RND, Mac said he was pondering how to convince Stella to take it easy on the case but he knew he would waste his breathe. Mac knows Stella so well, she won't back down if he didn't force her as her boss, not a friend. I think he thought it would be extremely dangerous for Stella to pursue the Greek man. I thing he was already regret it whe Stella left angrily. I don't know, maybe this is just me comforting myself. :shifty:
As for the blond freak, she was soooo pathetic. :scream: :scream: I think Mac was just pity for her. If Mac falls for her, I would definitely say goodbye to the show. :scream: :scream: :scream:

I just came home from a Christmas dinner.
I read all the posts. We got even depressed after the last eppy. And have to wait at least one month to see if Mac and Stella would make up. Or, their relationship become worse. It would a loooong month to us.

at Danny and Lindsay's wedding. And they are going to appear TOGETHER. So we can assume they made amends at that point

I think problems they have this year are based on the distance there is between them. When they were together they could fixed up everything. They could fight against the world.
Now they are apart and they are suffering the consequences. Together they are everything, separated they are nothing

That's why Stella is having a weird behaviour (more stubborn than usual) and that's why Mac is fooled by any pathetic psycho-chick in the neibourghood

Stella is playing with fire, I just hope that Mac comes to her side and helps her with this problem and doesn't get too mad at her for lying to him. As her friend he should be concerned, as her boss, I guess I can see why he would be pissed. But c'mon Mac, can you really stay angry at Stella.

*wonders if she should post* I liked the episode. i can empathize with Ella. if my dad was an online freak and my mom killed him, I would totally bond with the first person who showed sympathy for me. Besides it's Mac! Is that really hard to believe? It may be the teenager in me. But the last part was abit creepy. I definitely wouldn't have done that.

Okay, the D/L was cute. The SMacked was intense and remember they are both human. Stella is Greek and this guy is greek. If I met a guy who was Armenian and was doing wrong things, I would want justice too. It makes the race look bad. But she is over-obsessing with it and there are other ways.

I thought it was good, but that's just me.

I had funny thoughts of 'Stella' when he was banging on Ella's door? and shouting out Ella?! coincidence? Stella - Ella? maybe it's just me being paranoid

but hey! maybe Mac will get Stella to pretend to be his wife and tell the toddler they're married
'urg... I'm sorry, I have a wife' looks at Stella slightly blushing and awkwardly pushing her towards his chest. lols! both feeling very awkward yet loving every bit of it- it's season 1 all over again, baby!

i mean, it would sort of make sense seeing Lindsay and Danny together... and then boom!

Stella and Dt. Angel- now that's a lot of fun! I didn't really think they'd be such a great team at first, but when they were together... it was way better than I would have imagined. I think it's partly because of how they are willing to bend the rules. Flack would have been a bit like Mac, so Angel was Stella's go to girl.

Oh yeah one more thing- I loved how Stella literally stormed out of Mac's office! and the way she pushed the glass door! whoa! she also looked back!
where's the part Mac goes 'she looked back-nice!'?! haha

Anyways what's with Mac distancing himself from Stella?! grrr season 5!

I don't knwo is everything happens in here but you can be sure something will happen if these HORRENDOUS writers and producer don't give us SMACked amend soon (we are thinking about setting free certain lions )

Let's say i didn't watch the episode but hey! REMEMBER! we talk and talk and talk before S5 starts if we would like a one-single fight-episode or a fight which could last several episodes and several members of the Family said they wanted the second option.
So we are getting what we wanted because at the edn everything will be all right

Pity this season is far from being SMACked so we are lost right now about the futurue consequences of our desire

hey everybody!

i haven´t seen the episode yet but i think i can agree with Mistlezee.
if they fight for more episodes they have to make up again later! writers just can´t ignore that they had a fight when it is for more eps (even when they love not to continue with stories) so we hopefully get a nice scene where they speak out!
and a fight is always something that brings some tension with it. til now s5 didn´t give us any tension (good or bad) between mac and stella so i think it´s good to have at least something. and i´m sure mac and stella aren´t happy about this arguement, they care so much for each other that it isn´t just a fight with somebody - no - it´s a fight with their best friend!!! they have to deal with it in a speacial way!
and stella is a smack lover too. after pointing that out over and over i thing that she won´t allow mac and stella to drift apart.

And yeah. I don't mind the fights. You can't say they are driving a wedge in between them when we actually get some action. I would much rather have a fight scene than no scene at all, like we had been getting for weeks. And like someone brought up, I can remember a few people (including myself) wanting a fight scene because we knew a make-up scene we come soon after. People are sinners and this is going to happen. They are partners, both with strong ambitions and and like Melina said they can play off of each other's crap. But we all know that apologies will come. It just makes the closer and stronger.

But she did look back. Man, I was like "....", I swear she almost cracked his door she was so mad. I wander if he had to open a window. I'm sure it got hot in there.

Omg, I really don't like fights between people and this Mac/Stella conversation wasn't an exception. Blah. But I loved to see Stella storming out of his office, and whoa, Stella looking back! That moment was awesome. Like that scene at the autopsy when they were leaving and Stella went in the elevator alone. I liked the conversation :drool: He sounded worried, and that's why I was amazed by the fight between them. Where did that come from? Yeah, I see Mac's point of view, but still .. i felt like TPTB left some bits and pieces of something off from that eppy. First Stella goes to see the counterfeiter and suddenly Mac gets a call from someone who knows that Stella did a deal with the man to move his brother to another jail. Woot? Too fast for me (okay, there was maaany scenes between, but .. )

IT WAS PATHETIC!!! I cant believe the writers are doing this. Mac coming to the rescue of the teenage freak. She has a crush on him and cut her wrists and the end of the show has Mac coming to her rescue!! I am almost ready to find a new pass time for Wedenesday night. And yes it is becoming the Danny and Lindsey soap opera. I did not have a problem with that untill tonight. And the fight with Mac and Stella? All that did was cause a further wedge between them. The writers are deliberatly keeping them apart by throwing D/L and all these pathtic "Love interest" for Mac. I will tell you I am not a teenager and this use to be a good show but it is REALLY becoming "Far fetched" to me. I started watching it because of the relationship/ partnership of Mac and Stella but they are really ruining it and making it uninteresting to watch. They are catering to the "Younger" croed I guess but if they keep doing it they will lose the "older" ones. I kept hoping that maybe at the end of the show they would have somthing and what do they have? A teenage stalker love interest with a crush on Mac who he hardly knows cutting her wrists and making a phone call to his private cell and he goes running to save her Beliveable? Not hardly!

OMG did that really happen? i'm so not watching it...

i'm gonna cry.
I hate DL soap-opera, i want smacked, why do they have to do that? what are they doing to Mac for christ's sake? I'm sorry to say this, i know this is gonna sound horrible, but... it was a bad bad time for Ana Belknap to get pregnant. I feel the entire storyline would be TOTALLY different if she didn't get pregnant. She totally screwed up the series. Now we have this whole DL soap and Mac and Stella storielines are so absurd. I wish she (Belknap) left the show and we get the focus back on REAL, GOOD actors, that is, Gary and Melina.

i'll write Ausiello and Roush a tons of letters in protest.

Ok. I put my nerve and my guts togheter and just watched it.

I keep waht said about D/L: i'm so over the D/L soap-opera. The pregnancy has already been written in, enough of cheesy D/L!! I don't need to feel Ana Belknap baby kicking! That's up to her husband, not us CSI:NY fans! I want smacked!!

I'm not sure what to make out of the smacked fight, it was not as bad as i thought it would be (not irreversible), but one thing is for sure: it definetelly ruined any chances of us having smacked on season 5. Of course they'll eventually work things out and be good friends again, but a romance seems practically out of question any time soon.

Stella's obsession with the greek guy is way over the top, and I agree she has no business doing what she's doing, there are much worse criminals out there, she's just obsessed with him for personal reasons. But being such a passionate person, she just can't see it. So I guess Mac did the right move in calling her off, and he made it very clear he was doing it as her boss, but offf as a friend he would really like to help her.
Above any other thing, i guess their fight enhanced both Mac and Stella's most prominent personality features: Mac is "black and white", Stella is "shades of grey". In both cases, going extreme may have bad consequences. Stella is going a little extreme with her obsession. Maybe something bad will happen to her due to her obsession with the greek guy, Mac will save her, and Stella will realize she went too far... and they'll work things out (after all he's the yin to her yang!!):drool:
When Stella looked back i had a feeling she was feeling not just pissed off... but... HURT, because he thought Mac would help her out ultimately. And Mac? I guess he KNOWS she won't quit her pursue for the greek guy. (maybe he'll pretend he believes she quit... but deep inside i guess he knows she wont')
Something else: i'm not sure about the consequences of this whole greek guy mess, because if danny is involved, well, Mac would have to fire half the team (plus i don't know if you can fire a pregnant man!!) Not to say they have Angell backup (LOVED Angell/Stella pairing!!)
I guesss it would be fun if we had lots of Angell/Stella and Mac/Flack pairing, so that Mac and Flack would have little conversations about Stella and Angell (and vice-versa)

Ella: hate the chick!! argh! I guess Mac might get in trouble because of her. she wrote "I will make him love me", meaning she's willing anything. Once she realizes her plans didn't work out, she'll start to feel "betrayed" by Mac and surely will set him up somehow in some kind of personal vendetta. We already have Ella's calls to Mac's personal phone, we have his prints on her apartment, her blood in his clothes... and no one there to witness anything. It's lots of evidence for a her to create the perfect set up if she wants to...
But if that's not the case and they really consider letting this chick into Mac's life, then seriously, i'll quit watching the show.
Mac and Ella is almost like pedophilia. It's disgusting. Yuck!
