Hello!:) Sorry it took some time to visit, I had problem to get to the library! And I have now so little time, but I'll tryto be quick! :D

I really liked the episode, the dialogue was great again. I loved especially the scene between Mac and Stella and Mac and Sid! I think both of them were hilarious, and they showed again that Mac isn'tv that serious as he might look! The look on his face when Sid looked at him, I burst into laugh! :guffaw:

Yeah about Gerrard, well it may sound strange but I actually felt sorry for him.:( I mean what father would not do oto protect his childer? Mac's face kept me puzzled althought, he knows how the keep poker-face, I couldn't read at all what he thought about Gerrard when he shot the suspect.

And Udonna, now pics! Enjoy your medicine! :D I stared them all weekend so I fell quite numb at the moment!

the look on his face says clearly this: "Really?" :vulcan:
I wouldn't even dare to think about tell a lie at him!

i felt sorry for gerrard too, and i got the impression mac was quite sympathetic too. obviously what gerrard did was wrong but given the circumstances it was kind of understandable.

thanks for the pics :D

My dear Sam,

thank you very much for the pics!!! I do feel better now.

I love especially the one where he smiles:drool::drool: so cute:drool::drool:

Thanks again!!! We have here the rerun of the last ep of s4 today. S5 will start in september, until then they start with s1 again.
I don´t mind, I can´t get enough of him!!!!!

Have a nice evening!!!

Udonna

they're rerunning s5 here on channel 5 - i'm sky+ ing it this time because i didn't think to last time around, i thought maybe the dvd would be out some time this century* but apparently it's not so i'm glad it's repeated!

* although it seems things are finally more concrete - after about 3 date changes it looks like it was quietly released while i was away and is now on sale from amazon and usual etc etc. typical that they do it while my back's turned. and now of course i have the usual dilemma - buy it in two halves (one now, one in sept) or wait a little longer for the box set (mid aug) - mac related dilemmas, not good *grumble*

I agree, I think he sympathized with Gerrard. I think that after the initial 'head butting' thing right at the beginning, Mac was respectful and considerate to Gerrard. I love the look between them at the end, it was like they understood each other. I think Gerrard understood what it was that drove Mac to break protocol to go after that scumbag rapist Dobson in season 3. There's a similar moment in the s5 ep where Sinclair tells Mac his wife is going to leave him because she thinks he had an affair (I don't think Sinclair acutally did have an affair, though.) and Mac says he's sorry, and calls Sinclair 'Brigham'. Both scenes show that Mac can get over his 'politcal'/procedural disagreements with his superiors etc and relate to them as just human men, it's a nice touch.

I just got back from New York City after a five day holiday (brilliant!) and there was turbulence, and I kept thinking, where's Mac when I need him?

i think you one you have in mind was when they discovered that ann steel had helped cover up the fact that sinclair had been accused of sexual harrassment and he paid ann steel to sort it out - he then told his wife as he thought it was going to come out anyway, and she left him.

i totally agree with you - i like it when the people higher up the food chain have to make similar decisions and you see that ultimately they do realise why mac does some of the things he does that may be slightly less orthodox - and it's nice to see that he sees their side a bit too. i always like his interactions with sinclair and gerrard.

Great idea, had the same one but you beat me on it!!!
It hurts me seeing Mac geeting down and down...

Will enjoy the pics at home!!

Yesterday was the rerun of 1.18: the dove commmission!
Was quite good, Danny was a bit strange...
Mac was perfect, usual ( guess i am a little bit prejudiced....)

HAve a nice day!!!

Udonna:luvlove:

Gah...Mac overload:drool::drool: *lies face down in own drool*

Ahem...yeah, I really need a new computer :scream:. I am officially a Mac addict, a 'Macoholic', lol. Even having Season 4 on DVD doesn't help :D

I was watching 'Corporate Warriors' on Sunday, and I forgot how much I loved that episode. That line to Lindsay was a classic-"Don't quote me on this, Lindsay, but not everything's connected." He could give Horatio a run for his money :)

But the way he handled that katana was awesome, and all the other weapons, too. In general, in that episode, he seemed so light-hearted, especially when he was talking to Stella. Then again, I am a sucker for Stella/Mac scenes...
