Mac #5: Back In Black!

Y'know, Danny was shirtless last night, and it was nice, but IMO Shirtless!Danny is nowhere near as drool-inducing as Shirtless!Mac. Mac just does it for me (yeah, yeah, I know that's the understament of the century:guffaw and Danny doesn't. I mean he's cute and all, but he just ain't got the Mac-Factor.:evil: I'm hoping we get some Shirtless!Mac this season. I read an interview with John Dove who wrote DOA for a Day, and he was joking that Danny and Flack would be taking their shirts off in s4, and I thought, um, what about MAC? But Anthony Zuiker called Mac the 'stud of the show' so maybe he'll give us some Shirtless!Mac. *PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, AZ IF YOU READ THIS GIVE US SHIRTLESS!MAC!* I know more of the female fans of NY like Danny and Flack than like Mac, but so what? We know he's HAWT! And TPTB must know it too - they keep putting him in black and in bulletproof vests and so on. I can't believe we're up to 5 Mac threads and 4 Gary ones!( though I've only been here since Thread 3 of the Mac threads). We're Mac's groupies.:lol: Though he's such a sweet modest guy, he probaly thinks he doesn't need groupies.
Is it Thursday yet? No? Oh well, at least it's Saturday tommorrow, which is Mac night here too.:bolian:

Yeh, I have a few but the software I use to do the caps went nuts last night :guffaw:If you want any persific ones I can get them but Lorelai always makes a zip folder of them a few days after the ep aired

^Fun with Mac is always a good way to spend any free time. I just watched Comes Around (I was feeling down, and nothing makes me feel better than a beer and a bit of Mac :devil I LOVE that ep, I think it's great for Mac's development. Throughout the Dobson arc, we see that Mac is not perfect - he acts kinda paranoid and defensive in Cold Reveal, and he storms out of the courtroom in Comes Around (which I find rather hot, actually:devil I LOVE that. Most people, if accused of murdering someone and being the target of a superior's political machinations WOULD act paranoid and defensive- that's a perfectly normal and very human reaction, and it's great to see that Mac is a fully rounded human being with flaws as well as sheer sexiness and loveliness. That he has flaws makes him much more attractive to me than if he was Mr Perfect (like a certain other CSI leader, (*cough*Horatio*cough) who can do no wrong. Flawed characters are so much more interesting and real.:bolian: And yes, to be shallow, I do like Mac getting all pissy.:devil:
I also love that in Comes Around Mac learns to play a bit of politics. I think that as the head of the CSI lab, he needs to learn that, 'cause law enforcement is so politicized now, especially on the upper levels. But though he plays politics, Mac remains a cop who has absolutely no interest in career advancement (he tells Stella he's very happy where he is) and who obviously became a cop to make a difference, and even now, after 10 years or more, still wants to do that.
I think also in Comes Around, Mac begins to learn to recognize shades of gray in law enforcement. I hope they develop that some more, though at the same time I kinda like that he has a black and white view of the law.
Oh, and I feel so sorry for him when he's in that courtroom and he has to listen to that *beep* of a lawyer call him a murderer. You can see in his face, especially his eyes, how much that hurts and upsets him. (BTW, we need to track that lawyer woman down and throw HER off a roof.:evil I don't blame him for storming out, though it probably wasn't the best thing to do.:lol: I also feel sorry for him when he's talking to Peyton about how he feels guilty for that girl's death because he arrested Truby and as a consequence of that Dobson was relaeased. I love that Peyton puts him straight on that and tells him Truby's the one to blame and Mac's a much better cop than Truby. I also love that in both Consequences and Comes Around, Mac shows he isn't scared to take down dirty cops, no matter what the consequences. He has a really strong sense of morality, I love that about him

I also love Mac's confrontation with Bubba (Sinclair) and Gerrard. He plays them at their own game and wins, and the look on his face before he walks out is priceless. Hehe, Sinclair and Gerrard, you wanna play hardball with Mac? Ok, but he's gonna play just as hard! And you're gonna have to take on all of us Taylor Girls too!

Finally, I love that adorable smile Mac shows at the end of the episode when he says he found getting his own back on Bubba and Gerrard satisfying. Here, to make up for my excessive over analytical Mac- rant above I present you with this....Oh, I was going to post a pic of him smiling at the end of Comes Around, but couldn't find it anywhere, so here are a couple of pics from Corporate Warriors instead to prove that while Mac does have a few personality flaws, he doesn't have any physical ones...:devil:

I just realized that in the CW pics I posted last night, Mac is in casual wear - a black t-shirt and jogging pants. Which makes them even more :drool::drool: I bet he was a bit hot and sweaty after all that weapons testing, and a hot sweaty Mac is a Mac that needs a nice shower....:drool::drool::devil::devil:

Now, how about a lil bit of Uniform!Mac for a Saturday evening?

The uniform is very, very hot, but I think on this thread we are all more interested in getting him out of the uniform...:devil: And of course we all know it's not just the uniform that makes Mac irresistable, it's the whole package. Hehe, I've only been here a year or so, and look how far I've fallen into the gutter. It's all Mac's fault of course.
