Looking, looking, looking for that song

Police Officer
I'm looking for that song that was once a hit. It was played in the seventh season, and Hodges was doing something in the lab. It starts of with bass then a woman voice sings. The lyrics were something like "Yo pretty ladies around the world" in the hit song a few years back, but I'm looking for the one sung by the woman.
Help? Pretty please? And thanks in advance!

Those lyrics happen to be in a song called "Word Up" from Korn. This season, CSI has used songs with that title by Beth Orton, Willis, and Cameo, in episode "Post Mortem", and by Willis in "Fallen Idols" and "Happenstance", and by Cameo in first season "Who are You?"

Here are some of the lyrics:

Yo, pretty ladies around the world
Gotta a weird thing to show you
So tell all the boys and girls
Tell your brother, your sister and your momma too
We're about to go down
And you know just what to do
Wave your hands in the air like you don't care
Glide by the people as they start to look and stare
Do your dance, Do your dance
Do your dance quick, mom

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
So, do you know the female singer from that version of Word Up in that episode?

Can anyone help with this? In the miniature killer episode that (weirdo?) Lab guy David Hodges did some "robot steps" while waiting for the DNA samples processes....What wonderfull song was that? beatifull female vocal, accompained only y a bass...

ty in advance

lane, it is the version by 'Willis' in the episode. :) The version is available from places like iTunes (I have it, it's awesome).

Dynamo1, unfortunately the Tunefind site isn't correct at the moment, and the song is listed multiple times on episodes it didn't appear in this season, I think someone just randomly added it on there. :(

I am looking for the C&W song that that features in the opening of the episode Grave Danger and it was sung by pancho as he drives to the scene of his forthcoming kidnap

In season 7, in the third episode, Izzy Delancy is a famous rockstar and during the autopsy, doc Robbins and Grissom play some of his music. Now, I was wondering who the singer really is. I can't seem to find what music was used on any site. Izzy Delancy is, so I think, just a random name, not his real name. Can anyone help?!

Thanks in advance!

Helloooo. I just watched the CSI:NY episode "Consequences" and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the name of the song at the very end of the episode, as well as the artist? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out. :)

Edited to add: Nevermind, I figured it out. It's "Atlantic" by Keane. Thank you, me!

Does anyone know what the opening song for the ep "Play with Fire" was called? Also, the ep at the high school where the jock slept with the photography teacher and she ended up commiting suicide in the end... anyway, I wanted to know what the opening/closing song was called. I know its by Evanescence, and I love them, so help with these two songs is greatly appreciated.

According to Elyse's CSI website, at the beginning of "Play With Fire" (s3 ep22), the song is "Like Her" by Mandalay.

According to TuneFind, there were two tunes by Evanescence in "Fallen Idols" (s7 ep 17), "Good Enough" and "Lithium" but I don't know which one was at the opening or closing.
