thanks for voting me out, i wouldn't have had enough time to make any more icons for this challange so it's good that i don't have to anymore. :)
but i'm looking forward to the next round and all your icon ideas!

Ok - I will be running the next leg of this journey! I will give you all a few more days before I set the next challenge up. I am thinking Monday will be the day. If this is not enough time in between rounds - please let me know!

Ok - Next round up! This will be a bit different again!

Blending Caps
Ok - you can use any of the provided caps from any of the previous rounds (I think it is around 18 to choose from). You must use at least 2 caps in your icon.

Remember, only submit one icon. Please PM it to me, CSI Kat by 3:00 p.m. EST on Monday, Nov 19. If you choose not to enter this round, PM me and tell me that you'll be using your free pass for this round. BUT REMEMBER! You only have one free pass until the very end - so use it wisely! Also, I do not assume that if you don't enter, you are using your free pass. You need to tell me or you will be automatically eliminated.

In addition to the LIMS-specific rules, please abide by the other relatively standard rules:

+You must use one of the pictures I've provided for you.
+Do not go prancing around posting your icons all over the place until after the round is over.
+Your entry must not exceed 100x100px or 40kb and must be in .jpg, .png or .gif format.
+Please refrain from using animated icons.
+In your PM to me, please include both the image and URL (if you have fewer than 100 posts, then the URL only is okay) and in the subject line, please title it something like LIMS Round 5 or something similar. Challenges make for a messy inbox. I will also be starting another Miami icon challenge this week - so this is very important.
+Enter one icon and one icon only.

For this round, you may use any caps from all the previous rounds.

RESTRICTIONS:
+Animations
+Must use at least 2 caps

My intentions were from this LIMS - I think 3 rounds used pics.....6 pics each round 18 pics total. Is that enough or do you all want more to choose from? Let me know!

Challenge #5 - Blending caps- VOTING

+Vote for the TOP 3 of least quality. Include a valid reason for each vote, otherwise it won't be counted.
+ANY member of this board may vote.
+The makers of the two icons with the highest number of votes will be eliminated from the challenge.
+When voting, keep in mind that these icons were made using at least 2 different caps.

Examples of good reasons (courtesy of Ann):
50: The text is oddly placed
68: The colouring is overpowering
72: The icon is oversharpened
56: The icon is too blurry

Examples of bad reasons:
51: I hate the colour pink. (Personal Preference)
78: The tiny text/decorative brush is unreadable. (Because they’re supposed to be that way.)

Jeez, nobody wants to start the voting, and I can completely understand it, cause it's hard, so hard...

OK, I'll try it, but let me say: I like all icons, great work! :)

#2: I like the compo, the coloring and all, but while cropping you "broke" Lindsay's head! ;)

#3: nearly perfect but Ryan is too blurred and needs some more contrast

#4: again: I like this icon, great idea and coloring, but the bigger ring with Lindsay is a bit oddly placed, it reaches too much into Danny.

Boy you are right, Vera this is hard!

#2 - I like the concept but part of Lindsay's head is missing and it throws off te rest of the icon.

#3 - I like the pairing, but Danny is over powering because he is darker than Ryan.

#4 - Again like the concept, the the double circles detract from thewhoe icon, and we lose the effect.

*whipes forehead* Whew that was tough!
