"Leggo Our Greggo!" - Eric/Greg Discussion Thread Pt. 8

Oh by the way, in the You Tell Us! [letters] section of the new TV Guide dated August 21 - 27, some bitter Mcbitters wrote hostile letters to the magazine complaining about how their particular favorite CSI actor was overlooked in favor of Eric and those other two actors from the CSI franchise. One letter writer was p.o.'d because Gary Dourdan was left out of the article, and another was p.o.'d because George Eads was overlooked.

They should realize that the previous CSI article entitled "The Hot Guys of CSI" was a publicity decision to promote Eric and the other two guys. I'm sure that in the past both Gary and George got their fair share of publicity. Eric's day in the sun was long overdue.

I guess the TV guide editors decided not to publish my letter thanking them for the wonderful article on Eric. They apparently decided to go the "sour grapes" route instead.
 
Maybe not something about being proud, but I definately know he said he would be impressed if Greg stopped trying to impress him. I just watched the episode today on Spike. (Yay reruns!)
 
Why, I asked is that with all the spoilers ( Season 7) floating around, Brass said he was proud of Greg for what he had done. Brass would give Greg a hard time now and again about being a CSI. So, with him saying he was proud of Greg that’s pretty neat in my book.
 
We shouldn't let some 'sour grapes' ruin Eric's moment. So what if he has one article about him? Both George and Gary probably have hundreds about them. Let the guy have his moment.

As for the other discussion, Brass seems to act like he's proud of what Greg did. Unlike Grissom, I think he will actually tell Greg.

i totally agree...george eads and gary have had their spot light...poor eric finaly gets his and people are complaining? :rolleyes: whatever
 
Yeah they're just jealous :rolleyes: I mean, c'mon... everyone has their share, it's Eric's now, they should realize that. Oh well, we have no power over people's reaction though, whether we like it or not.

Toots maybe you're Thank You letter would be in the next issue or something? I don't know. But I hope. And I think it's so great that you write to thank them, so they'd know that it's not all 'sour', but there are happy Eric fans too :) Then maybe they'd feature Eric more in the future, who knows? ;)
 
It's not like we complaint when they featured on the others too. Eric's a regular now, and he should be getting his own limelight. I honestly feel they should also give props to the older cast like Paul Guilfoyle and Robert David Hall.

Usually on my side of the world when they do a feature on CSI, they normally cover all the cast members. Or at least they try to.
 
i was really pleased to see Eric with the other two rather than Gary or George. There are loads or articles on George, as well as Gary.

Eric's rather under appreciated compared to them! And he's just as great!
ALso i nearly fainted with how godly Eric as looking it

Oh thats not a very nice thing to say, but then everyone has their own opinion i suppose.

But in my opinion ;) I prefer CSI Greg cos he seems to have kind of matured in a way and i think he does understand about being a CSI cos he did say to Grissom "its not about the money" when grissom said it would be a pay cut so he does get the reality IMO. Also i think he looks very nice in his CSI gear :lol:

Yeah I guess you see what you want to see. Maybe the person doesn't like Greg, so she/he would always see the negative side *shrugs* Well, it's just an opinion...
Hmm that reminds me I haven't gone to YTDAW boards for ages since I figured out it's a GSR-centric board :lol:

Well if the spoilers are true, we'd get to see how mature and professional Greg has grown to be :) And hopefully it could change that person's opinion.

Ooh I agree, CSIangel, he looks cute in his CSI gear :D I love him in his CSI vest!

ohhh greg in CSI gear...yummm *drool*. he also gets more screentime being a CSI so we get to stare at him longer :D
