Josh Berman

CSI Files

Captain
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation co-executive producer Josh Berman recently took the time to answer questions from CSI Files visitors on topics ranging from his new show Deviant Behavior, the new recurring characters on CSI, and even romantic pairings between some of the established characters!

Berman has been a CSI writer since the show's first season, starting with the episode "Who Are You?" This year, he's worked on the episodes "Crow's Feet," "Mea Culpa," "Unbearable" and "Compulsion" -- and he also revealed he's written CSI's pre-final episode of the season, which we expect will be called "Iced." In addition, Berman has been developing the Fox drama series Deviant Behavior, for which he said a pilot has already been shot, and is currently under consideration for next season.

Following the announcement of this Q&A session, more than sixty people posted at Talk CSI to suggest questions for Mr. Berman, with close to two dozen people registering for the specific purpose of participating in this Q&A. We'd like to thank everyone who posted a question, and we hope you'll stick around at Talk CSI in the future!

Of the more than a hundred questions that were suggested, we chose what we thought were the most interesting, and divided them over four categories: questions dealing with Josh Berman himself, CSI in general, CSI ships, and finally the future of CSI. Below you'll be able to find Mr. Berman's answers to the questions -- our sincere thanks go out to him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to get in touch with the CSI fans!

Thanks for this opportunity to speak to an ACTUAL "TPTB", CSIfiles. I think you picked a good range of questions and the interview was terrific!! And thanks to Josh Berman for giving the interview.

Thank you to CSIfiles and Mr. Berman for answering a couple of my questions :D It's such a relief to actually read an interview with someone involved on the show (as oppossed to reading all the rumors coming about over the internet) I agree that it was a great interview done by CSIfiles to Mr. Berman, and thanks again to Mr. Berman for answering some of us fans' questions :) (btw, I was so excited to see that CSIfiles had picked a couple of my questions that I forgot my own password to log in here)

I am happy that he took the time to spend with us and answer some questions. But other than revealing his and David's birthdays (my question) and his background, he did not offer any specific information on any of the questions about the upcoming story lines. Sort of like going to a palm reader or psychic and hearing "You will meet a stranger" or "You will go on a trip." Doesn't really tell you much. Maybe he just did not want to give away any spoilers.

Thanks CSIfiles for giving us this opportunity.
I kinda knew the answer to my question will not be straight..but I'm so excited he read my question YAY !!
love you Christain and the mods.
I agree the questions were chosen well. I wonder what would have happen if all those questions were given to him.

Yeah, he didn't really offer too much new info, but as they say at the awards shows, it's nice just to get recognized!

*sigh*

I wish some of my questions had been answered, or at least one or two about Nick.

Will there be another interview with one of the CSI TPTB? I sure hope so! :)

A BIG THANK YOU! to whoever picked the questions for Josh Berman to answer- you picked one of my questions! Although it really wasn't a straight answer, it still was cool to have one of TPTB to respond to a question! :D Maybe Josh will spread the word to the cast that we're here and they'll
check us out. ;)

I can't remembe the episode where Nick revealed that he wa molested. Can anybody let me know the name of it?
