But Sara wasn't part of the original team either. So if people are technically saying because of the 'original team', take into consideration, Sara came into play in "Cool Change" was not an original member of the show.

I'd say the second episode makes you as big a part of the original team as anything else. By that theory, Brass is part of the original CSI team as well. While that's true, we never actually saw that much of him as the head of CSI.

Sara is a part of the original team. She's in all of the original team cast shots, she showed up in the second episode, and was always supposed to from the wishes of Anthony Zuiker.

Even if she wasn't, second episode makes you part of the original team far more than fifth season would.

And love her or hate her, Sara has always been a part of the dynamic. Sofia never really has. Her appearances have distracted from other things, and now she's not even a prominent part of the show. She's just sort of... there.
 
I'd probably shoot myself first. Although I don't love every single person on the show, I think they all contribute to making the show what it is. And that is why I watch CSI.
 
I have to agree with Sarahvma about Sara. She is the origianl cast, she was in first season, 2nd episode. Yes, she is original cast member. She has been with the cast for 7 years going on 8 years, if she sign up. I hope she does.

They do! I seriously wouldn't want anyone gone really. They each have their own spark to the show.

But since this thread was started, I chose Sara. :p
 
Show wouldn't be the same if any of the main charactors left. Hodges or Ecklie left I wouldn't notice or care. I wouldn't mind GSR leaving though. No offence to fans I just don't like it

But she is a part of the cast now, and is a main chracter. And the original question was directed to any member of the cast, just the "original" five. That's like saying Lindsay from NY isn't a main chracter because she came in during season 2 ;)

Sorry, back OT! I'd have to go with Sara as well; I never really took a liking to her and she never grabbed my attention during her scenes.
 
I'd have to say Sara.

I love Jorja, but Sara's character isn't one I'd miss.

Although, I'm beginning to feel that way about Nick too!

i agree.. i like Sophia but it doesnt bother me if she'll leave or not..
