I wish they would flash back to...

*prods lurkers* I know there are people visiting this forum, so my goal is to get more of y'all to post (and to force the lovely NY moderators to read more).

So here's the question: If the show included a flashback into the past of one of the characters, which moment would you like to see?

It could be a happy moment, a tragic moment, a dramatic moment - any moment you can think of.

Personally, I'd love to see a flashback of Adam's childhood. (I know - it's shocking, isn't it? )

I'd really like to know more about Hawkes. I know there was last night's episode, but I want to know why he became a doctor in the first place. Also, he apparently has had only two women in his life... that chick he mentioned in Crimes and Misdemeanors and his ex last night. Why can't we see like a nervous Hawkes? I'd like to see a point in his past where he has been embarrassed even if he is super sophisticated and sexy *drools*

Right, now I'm off topic, and I'm returning. Actually the original team meeting each other would be interesting. I know it's a crime show, but mentions of that. Right one character so definately Hawkes (but my second choice is Adam )

I agree about seeing the characters meet each other, or just some sort of moment to take them back to their earlier days. A flashback like that could be fun.

I would love the see a flashback of when everyone met!! That would be really interesting. I've always wondered too. I don't remember it being mentioned either. So hopefully it will one of these days.

Well I would also love to see Adam's childhood in a flashback. If not his another member of the team's, besides Stella's because we've already learned quite a bit about hers and some of Lindsay's.

So overall flashbacks when the team met, or their childhood's would be excellent.

i'd like a flashback to 9/11 when Mac lost Claire and later. I would like to see everybody's reaction to his loss but in special his reaction.

Also i would like to know if the lab was asked to help to run DNA tests or something

Oooh, great thread! And I have so many thoughts.

I'd love to see some sort of flashback with Flack and his father. Something significant, like when he graduated from the police academy or decided to be an officer.

I'd like to see a flashback from Danny's childhood that explains his emotional neediness and vulnerability issues.

And for purely gratuitous purposes, I'd like to see a flashback to the moment Flack and Danny met. :devil:

I'd love to see flashbacks of both Danny and Flack as kids. And I don't mean "teenagers" where the actors just wear hats on backwards to look "younger." I'd love to see the entire family dynamic we all speculate so much about with these two.

Daughter of P.S. I'd actually like to see a flashback of Lindsay as a kid, too. Anything that would give her character some definition and frame of reference would be nice. Plus I think they'd find some adorable little girl to play the mini Lindsay.

In that vein, I'd like to see something with Flack and Sam as kids - maybe something to indicate whether or not their mom is still around and, if not, what happened to her. (Also to deal with the whole is-there-a-brother-or-did-the-writers-retcon-him situation. )

And I can't help wonder if they met when Flack rescued Danny from some terrible danger. Since they seem to be really good at that routine now. :lol:

I agree about the childhood flashbacks... I'd love to see everyone as kids.

I'd also love to see when everyone met... Flack and Danny would be funny.

I would like to see more about Hawkes' days in the hospital and in college and everything like that.

I would be interested to see everyone's first days in the NYPD, too.

If it hasn't been done before, I'd like to see how Mac and Stella met, and how each team member got hired in.

I have more than one, so please bear with me!

1) Mac and Claire. I would love to learn more about their relationship. It's just intriguing....
2) Mac's days in the Marines. Who doesn't love a man in uniform?! :drool: Plus, I think Gary would be honorable as he brings that part of Mac's life to the screen. He just has that kind of respect for the troops.

3) Flack's childhood. I would like to see how he was influenced (if he was) by his Dad being a cop.

4) I would like to know more about Lindsay's childhood/early adulthood. We just don't know that much about her.

I would love to see what happened between Seasons 2 & 3. Mac promised an unconscious Flack that he would help him overcome his injuries and I think he did just that. It seems that the two became good friends during this time. I mean, we know that Flack knew about Mac & Peyton before Danny and I think it is possible that he was actually the first of everybody to know. Mac & Peyton were already together at the start of the Season 3 and if Mac was helping Flack with his convalescence he very well could have known about the relationship. It was also Flack that Mac confided in when Peyton broke it off. I just think it would be interesting to see how that friendship grew.

Also, like Top, I would like to see some Flack and Danny scenes during that time. I really would like to see that all support that Flack has given Danny in the past was reciprocated.
