Season 1 had Catherine still having problems with Eddie, and no relationships for her if I recall. (kinda wish they'd left the Cath/Nick - only took it out because they didn't want relationships between the CSIs).

yea, kinda funny how they didn't want the relationships, and then look at what happened...GSR. do you know where (if anywhere) you can find the footage of nick and cath?

I need help about Grissom in season 7, because right now I am very confused.
I just saw an article in a magazine about CSI guys, with a small description of them all.(btw, I was like screaming at the magazine for 5 minutes with the excitement of reading something :D Yeah, it's not very normal to see them here where I live) Everything seems about fine about everyone, except from Grissom. First of all, they call him Grisson, twice, so it's not a typing mistake :rolleyes: But that's not confusing me, I know it's their mistake. But then they say that season 6 is the last one where he appears, and then Liev Schreiber got his part. Can someone please tell me if I am the one that is wrong? Because I haven't seen season 7 yet, and I don't know who LS is. But I really thought that Grissom/WP was there. I mean, isn't it the season where GSR is canon (apart from season 6 finale)? Isn't Grissom the one that is very into the MK story? I really had that impression from everything I have read. I could swear WP was in season 7, apart from those episodes where he didn't appear because he was doing a theatre play somewhere? Am I confusing everything or what :confused:

Who ever wrote that article needs to do a better job at research, Liev was only on the show for 4 episodes while Gil went on a sabatical.

No, she met him in the episode where the house collapsed and he's the general forman and she's goes to his house at the end of "Justice Is Served" and you see him again in s.2 I believe. but whatever happened to him?

That would be Paul Newsome - the district engineer.
We last see him in 2x05 Scuba Doobie Doo. Their relationship basically ended there as he thought she was only using him for information:
PN: It's in the car. I hope you appreciate that even as district engineer it wasn't easy getting you the original land deed.
CATH: Well, I know how you love a challenge. So, what'd the property sell for?
PN: Half a million bucks an acre. Is there anything else that you need to use me for?
CATH: Whoa. Excuse me?
PN: It's obvious that you're not here for me. You're here for yourself. So let's not waste each other's time, all right?

I think it would be fair to say that conversation killed any continuation of their relationship.
I'm sure it was fun for Marg to work with Brad Johnson again, even though they didn't have much screen time together.

"Brad Johnson" played in three eps as 'Paul Newsome, District Engineer' $35K O.B.O. , Justice Is Served, Scuba Doobie-Doo.

Marg and Brad were also in a 1989 movie called "Always".

Don't know...but I do have a question. Does anyone know what made the producers/directors/whoever decide to change the song to Who Are You? (The first few eps in s1 it was something different)
