This is my first ever fanfiction (on anything) I wrote it when I couldn't sleep one night :lol: It's not very good. It's before Grissom and Sara got together. And it's really short... (two parter)

This is the first part

Grissom’s POV

Whenever I see your face, the world disappears, all in a single glance so, revealing..

Grissom glanced in his usual way at his co worker Sara Sidle. It was kind of like the way a teenager would stare at a new crush. Sneakily looking, whenever she turned around he’d quickly look away, hoping he hadn’t been seen. Yet occasionally their eyes would meet, and that was just it…. He’d melt

You smile and I feel as though, I’ve known you for years..

Each time he saw her smile, his world would slow down so much, it felt as if they were the only two in it. She’d speak, and sometimes, just sometimes, he’d forget every word she has said, as he’d been to busy staring at her slightly pouty, but perfect lips.

How do I know to trust what I’m feeling..

Grissom has never really been a truly loving person. Sure there was a few that had caught his heart. But never like this. This was….different. His heart skipped a beat at even the slightest mention of her name. His eyes would fixate on nothing else but her, if she was in the same room. She made him feel….special.

I believe my heart, what else can I do, when every part of every thought leads me straight to you..

He knew deep down what he had to do. He couldn’t hide it forever. He even knew, that deep down, she felt the same way. He also knew, that if he didn’t do anything about it, he could lose her forever. He had to tell her..

I believe my heart, there’s no other choice. From now whenever my heart speaks, I can only hear your voice..

Tell her what was in his heart, and what had been since he can remember. Tell her how beautiful she is and how he dreams of holding her in his arms, and never letting go. With that he turned around, looked directly in her eyes and spoke.. ‘I love you..’

A lifetime before we met, has faded away, how did I live a moment without you?..

As Sara wrote her findings, from an experiment she had just done, down, she felt a warm stare hit her at the side of her face. She wanted so much to look back, but she knew id she did, Grissom would just look away. Instead, she put on her brightest, most poutyest smile, just to keep in interested. She’d often thought about, how life would be, without Grissom in it. Pointless.. She’d tell herself. Who would look after her when she was sad? Who’d protect her in times of need? Who would be there when she needed to feel…..loved?

You don’t have to speak at all. I know what you’d say. And I know every secret about you.

A stare was all it took for Sara. A stare was all she needed. She knew what it meant. Especially a stare this warm. Sara knew most things about Grissom. Even things he didn’t even know himself. But it turn, he knew everything about her. This made it more special, as he didn’t actually have to say anything, she knew instantly what he thought.

I believe my heart, it believes in me, it’s telling me that what I see, is completely true.

She knew deep down she had to get it out in the open. He wasn’t going to be around forever after all. She had to tell him now. While there was no one else around. She pondered for a while. Not doing much work.

I believe my heart, how can it be wrong, it says that what I feel for you, I will feel my whole, life long.

She felt her hands clam slightly, and her heart race like it’s never raced before. Thinking about it was easy enough, but to actually do it? Impossible. She heard him get out of his seat and walk away. She thought to herself how she just missed her chance.. Another chance. With that he turned around. She looked at him in right in the eye, then heard him say…’I love you’.
She was shocked at first, and didn’t know what to say. So she said the first thing she thought of… ‘what?’
‘Sara Sidle, I’m in love with you’ he smiled.
Instantly she got off her seat, walked over to him, not once taking her eyes off his. Then slowly, she placed her lips on his and kissed him. It was so soft, so lovingly, so… heavenly. Then replied.. ‘I love you too’
They kiss again...

*Rest of song continues*

I believe my heart, it believes in you,
Its telling me that what i see is completely true,
And with all my soul i believe my heart,
The portrait that it paints of you, is a perfect work of art

Please let it be Brass... snooping around and spotting them! That would be so cool! I want him to be the first to find out on the show too! ;)

this is a really good start ... i honestly think you should elong it and bring in maybe some complications of them having a relationship or something while working at the lab.... it would be a honest shame if you just let this story go ..... i totally think you should keep writing it ... its really really good
