It was just before the final bell and Lindsey had arranged for her to come with me and finally meet my mother.
Greg’s text message came thru just as the bell went off.
In the car park G
Lindsay and I said good bye to Connor and headed out.
“so what are we doing now?”
“Greg’s going to take us to my mom’s work. He’s been keeping me up with what’s going on with her life. There he is” I said as we walked over to the car.
Greg got out of his tahoe and spoke “Ms Willows. Ms H you’re rid awaits.”
Lindsey asked Greg a question as they got inot the car “ where are we going?”
“well Cath & Sara are still working. I’m taking you guys to the lab.”
“Sara sidle that sara? Hunter isn’t Sidle your surname?” Lindsey asked me.
“Yes Lins that’s right. Sara’s my mother. I don’t know who my father is.”

Sara felt a weird feeling she looked at the date then down at her pager.
Sure enough her pager had gone off.
Visitor at front desk.
She looked at Catherine and said “I’ll be back soon. I have a visitor”
“Sure I’ll cover for you.”
Sara walked down the halls, she saw Grissom sitting down in his office as she continued to walk to the front desk.
Sara saw Judy at the desk and didn’t look around.
“Judy I have a visitor”
“She’s sitting down in the corner”
she walked around and froze when she saw who it was.
“mom”
Laura got up and hugged her daughter so tight.
“Oh Sara. It’s so good to see you”
Sara didn’t notice that Grissom was standing behind them.
“Mom where’s Hunter? What are you doing here?”
“She’s at school. Well she was. A friend is bringing her here. We’ve moved to Vegas. Baby who the man standing behind us”
Sara turned around to see Grissom behind them.
“Mom this is Dr Gil Grissom, my boss. Grissom thing is my Mom.”

Gil lead them to his office, offered the two a seat and set to walk out of the room.
“Gil stay. This involves you too” Sara said looking at him.
The three sat down and talked.
“So Honey what involves me?” Gil said looking intimate at Sara.
“Gil do you remember the last week you were at Berkley?”
“the night our souls first meet. And every night until I left but Sara why is this important?”
“Gil not long after I graduated. Mom was out of prison and I also found out I was pregnant. I moved into a place mom had in San fransico until I had our daughter. Then when the Finn case came up and you turned up & she was 5.”
“She’s 16. I have a daughter who is 16” Gil looked at Sara then at Laura.
Laura looked at them and spoke “Gil my name is Laura. She’s actually 17 in a few days and has a boyfriend who lives here in Vegas”
“well considering I have one and half children. What is my daughter’s name?”
Laura looked at Sara and noticed her glowing & a slight rounding bump.
“Hunter Sara Georgia Sidle. I was supposed to having a boy that’s why I choose the name Hunter. Georgia after your mother, I hope she wont mind.”
“Where is she?” Gil asked
“her boyfriend went to pick her up from school. She got a full scholarship to Butterfly Academy. Had her first day today”
“that’s where Lindsey goes. I hope she looks out for her. When do I get to meet her?” Gil asked
“Mom, do you have Hunter’s mobile number?” Sara asked
“Here” Laura said dialling the number from Gil’s office phone.
Sara waited for the phone to be answered, Gil had his hand on her stomach and Laura watched them.
“Hunter’s phone? Lindsey speaking”
“May I speak with Hunter?”
“Sure Sara. One minute.”
Sara listen to the voice say to the others “oh guys stop with the kissie kissie. Hunter your mom is on the phone.”
Sure enough the phone was answered.
“Mom how did you get this number?”
“your Nana dialled it. Where are you?”
“ in the carpark of LV Crimelab”
“What are you doing here? My friend Greg is dropping Lindsey off coz her nana had to work.”
“Okay drop by Grissom’s office”
“Where is it?”
“Ask Lindsey where it is. I’ll be waiting!” She hung up.
Gil looked at her “So?”
“She’s in the carpark. She’ll be here soon”
