Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

I don't have an H/Y banner, but I believe that when H said what is in my sig, he was thinking of Yelina. Does that count? ;)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

It most definitely counts! :D It is a great quote and it certainly made me think the same thing. That was a nice touch by whoever wrote that episode. :)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

sienna cool H/Y banner :D

and MiamiDade i love ur choice of H quote. of couse he was thinking for Y ;) to my mind come a lot reproachs from my parents or friends that i don`t talk for my feeling and alway make a joke for serious stuff. but for me is more importance to show the peoples near u that u care for them. in meaning that is more easily to say 'i`m sorry' or 'i love u' or 'this is the truth accept it'. more difficulty and right is to live with someone else guilt and to 'lie' so the one u love/care to be protected as long as possibly. that`s why i always like H approach toward Y.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

^ Exactly Pusher. Very nicely put. Horatio held back for as long as he could regarding the truth about Madison so as to save Yelina from all that hurt. He did the same when he found out Ray was alive (ie. he kept the truth from her) and his motive there was to protect her and Ray Jnr until he knew what was going on.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

his motive there was to protect her and Ray Jnr

yeah H protect her and the end all her anger (too srong word don`t know more right one) go against H :( she start to go out with Stetler only coz H was hide this info/news for Suzi and Madison. here is all the problem or maybe solution . this protection save her from pain/hurt, but make her do not trust in H after all. at one moment as crazy it`s to sound i have feeling that Y accept the things more easily this way. H to faind out what is all about Ray Sn or Madosn...and after this Y is mad at H, but don`t have time to think over her past life/decision. all this negativein go to H, but we know he will be always there for her. better to be like this..don`t know, hope u`ll catch my thought..

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

I understand Pusher. Also, the Madison scenario was one of Ann D's barrier's that she deliberately put up betweem H and Y. That was a plot device to drive a wedge between them and to cause Y not to trust him. :( I was so frustated by all that, though it was great drama. I just wanted H to tell her the truth!

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

But when she accepts letting Ray Jr give his blood, the expression on her face when she enters the hospital rooms, makes me think that she's forgiven Horatio, she's understood that he was only trying to protect her and that it was Ray's mistake, not his...So maybe this was just a plot to make us suffer...or maybe to show that Yelina chose the wrong man???

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

Yes, I'm quite sure that she's forgiven him and she would have understood his motives too. I imagine she would have been angry at him for keeping the truth from her for so long, but ultimately, she knows him so well and how he always tries to protect her. She was deeply hurt by Ray's betrayal, but rose above this to do the right thing. :)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

this Y decision in the hospital room was one of the most noble gesture for all CSI M epis. she after all is a mother and fully understand this situation. why the little kid have to pay for Ray Sn mistakes ?! as H have say Suzi and Madiosn are from the family. he have responsibility from them too. and Y too have responsibility to take the right decision in the right time. this medical procedure hide risk for Ray Jn, but most importance is to be make a try and safe the girl. if they (H and Y) can`t safe the bro/hubby why they can`t try to safe (correction) what was left from him...

and i don`t think that this situation make Y to wonder did he marry for the wrong man, just make her love more and more H :p but if we have to be honest H was a lot surprise to see her and her son in the hospital. for if Y wasn`t do this step H won`t blame, just accept her with all her '+' and '-' in her character...

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

I don't believe Ray'll be going to take drugs again because that Yelina went with him and iddn't stay showed him enough more than enough that she really loves that guy and her heart is beating in only one direction.

Yelina and H to leave the country of brazil together? I don't know, still I think Raymond is really good for Yelina. I don't know why... I think if family was going good and Yelina and Raymond didn't fight and they were like happy family I don't think H wouldn't tell Yelina that his heart still is 100% beating for her.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

Hm, actually we don't know if Yelina and Ray had some arguments.
Ray was not always there for his family because he often was undercover. If I were Yelina I would be angry.
Yelina went with Ray because she's a mother first. Ray jr. needs a father and she was also a little caught off guard. She didn't expect to see Ray.

I agree with the part that Horatio wouldn't tell Yelina that he loved her. He's too noble. maybe he will do it in the future. :D

his heart is still 100% beating for her.

awww, how cute! :D

Exactly. When Ray Jnr saw his father emerge from the plane, he was euphoric and ran to him immediately. Yelina had no choice but to go with them. Horatio manipulated this very nicely - he wanted to make sure Yelina had to go. They also had to leave quickly for Ray Snr's safety. There was no time for deliberation.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

I think Raymond is really good for Yelina.
Hmm, not so sure about that. Can a leopard change it's spots? Ray was a dirty cop, drug addict and unfaithful husband who deserted his family to save himself from the 'being dirty' allegations. He has a bit of reforming to do, considering his selfish past.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~

don`t think that peoples change so easily. why after all S5 spoiler will be for missing Ray Sn again ?! killed by trying to protect his family from Mala Noche ?! more possibly is to be dead by takeing drugs or involve with bad guys so typically for Ray Sn.

and why Y can not go off Brazil with H even Ray Sn is alive?! how much mistakes have to forgive?! as all gust have say she is mother in the first place. i think that now in Brazil Ray Sn threaten not only his life but Ray Jn life too. and this change the things a lot.

Yelina had no choice but to go with them. Horatio manipulated this very nicely - he wanted to make sure Yelina had to go.

i love this explanation :D

Well said, Swany! Couldn't agree with you more. Raymond is a dyed-in-the-wool self-fulfilling prat and a half! He wouldn't know "love as in love of family (brother, wife and son)" if it jumped up and bit him on the petuties. Hmm, then again he may start to get a clue AFTER Horatio gives him an asskicking of redheaded proportions. We can all live in hope. :)
