You know, I'm starting to feel glad that I've always liked the Eric/Calleigh dynamic, because other than that, and the occasional appearance by Yelina, I don't think that Season 6 is realistically going to have very much to offer me.

So, this thread has a long way to go yet, lol (providing Sofia is still on board). As the 10th Doctor Who said, hope is a good emotion.

Indeed, thank goodness for hope! After reading the Corey interview, I needed some inspiration that's for sure. I too like E/C, but it is about time we had some H/Y development. At this rate, we could be looking at Season 10! Geez, I hope shows like Heroes and House continue for that length of time (now we know S4 will be BSG's final season) so I can remain sane in my TV world whilst waiting!

Well I just got back from a day at the theme park (damn those rollercoasters were of the hook!) so I have a lot of cathing up to do. Oh and guess what I did today task force?! I fired a real gun, it was pretty cool.

Still no promo online? Bummer! god it sucks that the writers don't check the forums. But didn't Corey visit it a couple of times?

Whats BSG?! I should be able to work that out but I can't :s

I too have always liked the Eric/Calliegh dynamic too, but Horatio is the main character, the main man in Miami, and we need a cannon and we need it now dammit. How long can they drag it out for? Both H and Y are both single now, and the storylines they could get out of H/Y would make for excelent drama. So what are they waiting for?!

BSG = Battlestar Galactica. It's a TV show.

Hcrazy posted the promo on youtube (my hero).
There's a short scene with Yelina, but everything is so fast (like always).
At the moment, I'm not soo happy about Season 6. I'm not really a fan of the E/C thing (or office romances in general) and the other reason is obvious.
The only bright spot so far is Yelina's return, but maybe I shouldn't judge it before it airs.

Next Wednesday Season 5 starts in Austria. I soo look forward to see Rio.

I saw a rerun of 'Killer Date' last week.
I thought about the scene where Horatio read the file about Ray's 'murderer' and suddenly Yelina appeared.
It was cute how she believed him so quickly that everything was ok even though Horatio was such a bad liar (IMO) in this scene.
Maybe she didn't want to go through the whole drama again.

Forgive me for being off-topic for a moment, but I agree, it is such a shame, but very much a case of 'quality over quantity' where BSG is concerned. Mary McDonnell said it so well:

"Ron (Moore) is a visionary. He has understood from the beginning that the legacy of BSG exists in it being a complete story. To continue it on and on like some series do and just fill space would diminish the power of the allegory. It has more resonance if it's complete. It will be a classic."

Interestingly, 'filling space' is what Miami is doing for me right now. I immediately thought of it when Mary said this.

Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful 3 weeks Lunalove. We will miss you.

At the end of 'Killer Date', I almost got the impression that Yelina sensed that Horatio wasn't being entirely honest with her. There was just something about the way she looked at him. It was if she was thinking, "Hmm, I'll let it go for now, but that's far from the end of it."

Very nice wallpaper as always katpin. I have to say, I'm not counting down to the Season premiere at all really. As Tally said, times have changed a lot for some of us. However, I am looking forward to seeing the lovely Yelina again.

Thanks Lucy. Only reason I'm counting down is just to see how everything I've read & heard pans out. If it's gonna be like it has the last 1/12 seasons( I came in not quite mid-S4) well................we'll wait & see. I know I have really been disappointed. I know comments have been made about Super cop H but well......... if they'd quit with the stupid one-liners I'd be happy with that. I do miss seeing H in the lab even though I didn't know he did until I saw S1-3. I think that made the whole show more interesting. Oh well.............

That is an astute commentary by Mary McD. Precisely the sort of intelligent insight one expects from Mary. As much as it does grate that series like BSG end early compared to other Frankenstein-ish offerings that just keep don't know when to bow out gracefully, one appreciates the courage of BSG's creators and them wanting to close the loop on their own terms as opposed to being forced out.

Miami can still be creatively salvaged and re-worked without doubt provided it's recognized that there is a deep rooted problem with storyline and chracterization development and continuity. H/Y is just one of the major symptoms of this malady. However from Corey's recent interview Miami in its current format, is still wonderful and fantastic and no. 1, which translates into "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The supreme irony slays me on multiple levels.

Yes, I'm looking forward to Y appearing in a Miami episode. Sofia will be marvellous as expected and her scenes with DC will be as marvellous as also expected. Isolated events repeated sporadically over the course of another season. It's the Miami H/Y way.

Thanks for the pic of Yelina. She looks lovely in white as always. Wonder what's all that wreckage behind her? Should be interesting, and am looking forward to new H/Y scenes. They will be fantastic. Hopefully Pusher can oblige with posting it on youtube.

I saw the s6 promo posted on youtube, the H/Y scene although brief is clearly going to be excellent as expected. It's all in their eyes.

Promo looks good. Too bad that I was right about the actor playing H' son.. Don't like him very much. Yelina looks a bit different, I think it's the make-up Hopefuly we'll get a lot of H/Y moments, wait scratch that that we get a HY moment that screams "GET TOGETHER NOW!" I'd settle for that. I hope we soon have news of her reappearing again in another epi

I was thinking how much time was supposed to have passed between 'Burned' and s6 premiere. If you count it's only three episodes, so in terms of TV time, maybe it hasn't been that long since H looked Y up. Cos from the promo,

it looks like H goes to Y even before it's confirmed that Kyle is his son. So it's nice to see that he doesn't go to her after he finds outs but before, like he'd like her to help him through this possibility of him having a son. I'm hopeful, but promos can be misleading and maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Slays me too. I suppose Miami works well in it's unique shampoo commercial-esque 'we think we're so cool' kind of way. Heaven forbid that we (the audience) may want our brains engaging now and again.

Indeed, though I'm sure this has been confirmed already. H asks Yelina to investigate Kyle's background, Valera runs some checks and tells H Kyle is his son, then at the end of the episode, H makes this revelation to Yelina. Subject to change of course.
