....H does ask Yelina to check out Kyle's background, so I still think she will be in the loop. If they don't change anything, H does tell Yelina directly that Kyle is his son. ;)

Thanks, Luce. Even with this said, somehow with the post-S3 track record, one is anticipating a level of "rubbish in, rubbish out", especially if Y is set to be in just the season opener for now. Continuity? Reckon they wrap the Jr issue all up in the opener?

Kyle is supposed to appear in a handful of episodes, but as for continuity/development where H and Y are concerned, that is looking doubtful in terms of it happening anytime soon. Looks like we'll be seeing a repeat of Season 5 where Yelina appears in just a few episodes. Things are of course subject to change, but as mentioned, with tptb's track record with this, I am not overly hopeful. ;)

I think the premiere could be good for us. Our hopes will be raised and then we wait, and wait some more, and so normal service is resumed!

I'm with you & Tally on that score too. ;) It all sounds very familiar. We'll get some hopeful, chemistry filled H/Y scenes in the premiere (in which our two will be wonderful together, as always, though the dialogue and storyline will be lacking), we'll then wait goodness knows how long to see Yelina again, and indeed, normal Miami service will resume. I'm saddened to say that will almost certainly be the reality of it.

Wouldn't it be something if the writers were able to pull something really amazing out of left field with our two, to surprise us all.

I am just concerned how the new person in H's life whether he is there long term or short term will effect the H/Y story. Also how it will effect H over all. It might bring back the H of the first few seasons or it could even make him more cold. It depends on how the writers make him react to the whole deal. It makes me worry and hope at the same time.

I have my concerns too that if not handled properly the Kyle story will take precedence and H/Y will once again be swept aside. Let's hope tptb use this storyline wisely to the advantage of H/Y. There's really no telling till we see the episode. I hope there'll be more of Y in s6.

Perhaps H needs parenting advice (although in reality Kyle will probably not live with H), and since little bro is dead, Yelina would be perfect to show H the ropes of parenting :D It would be a perfect way to keep Yelina close to H instead of sweeping her under the rug again.

I look forward for S6 promo video only to see how it`s look like H, Kyle and Yelina after the summer break. If I have to be honest I don`t believe a lot this promos, coz they take vids/parts out of the context. Also like some guys here I`m little afraid how GTB :)lol: love this abbreviate Tally) will cope with H/Y relationship. From some spoilers we know that they don`t have see each others long time. Why?! Will we have some sensible explanation ?! Hummm.... what about, who is Kyle mom... what is going to say H about this... hope this to not stay mystery. Not that I`m curious about the next H angst past part, but we don`t get anything clearly about his young years in NY. Hope this time CSI Miami to be little better like plot line, but don`t think so. Anyway when come 24-th September we will see...

Dito I also want to see the promo just to see the H/Y moment.. don't really care about the rest. I swear 25th september I'm going to get up @ 4am to watch that new episode. I wouldn't survive it if I had to wait till the evening when I get back from school. I was lucky that Burned was showed 30 April and on 1 May I had a holiday so I could watch the episode over and over and over again. No not rly, just the H/Y moments :lol:

I, too like the new label GTB! Thanks for that, Tally! Perhaps the 'new kid' can bring H/Y together, but he also has great potential for added tension, which is probably what GTBs are looking for. I can see Y volunteering (or H asking) to have Kyle around for a day or two for some reason, and he either steals something from her or gets RJ into trouble. As far as seeing Sofia often in season 6, we know she's working on something else for a bit, but its a mini series as I understand it, so it will be for a specific length of time and no more. My hope is that after the holidays, when the first 8 or so of the epis have aired (and GTB are gearing up for sweeps in Feb) that we will see the solid presence of Sofia all the way through to the end of the season. Something to hope for, anyway.

I head to London in the a.m. to fly out on Friday, so the next time I talk with ya'll it'll be from the other side of the Atlantic. Soon! And Lucy, have a GREAT TIME on Saturday!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Lunalove, giggle worthy is too right! To quote Jacob from TWoP, "You gotta LOVE the LOVE!". :)

As for positive thinking, I'm all for it even if it does sound like my version of positivity has a tough outer coat of negativity. For the Miami context I equate negativity with reality which is par for the course for the GTB. One does not give up hope but one realigns one's expectations in measured fashion when submerged under a deluge of myopia and incompetance. Cue GTB.

Can this Jr storyline play out across the entire season? Probably not. Has Y been given her guest role to fit into this Jr issue? Probably (sez the cyninal moi). Hmm, then when Jr storyline ends, Y's does what? One also wonders if the other Jr will feature? Or we could in GTB fashion, substitute one Jr for another Jr without the slightest hiccup.

All I want to really know about S6 is in just how many episodes do we know that Sofia will actually appear? Once we have that info, the rest of how this H/Y platform will play out for S6 should be evident.

Well Sofia herself says she'll be in multiple episodes and so does Ann Donahue but nobody knows for how many. She doesn't appear in the following episodes that are known.. which are I think 6 episodes? Bummer :(

Maybe TPTB are going for the element of suprise. If there's one thing I know about spoilers, it's never to believe them. So one night, you'll be lying comfortably in your couch, watching CSI: Miami, not expecting anything, then suddenly WOW! Yelina! :D
You'll be far more excited then if you were watching, and when Yelina shows up, you'll be like, "Yeah, I knew she'd be in this episode...".

I'm an eternal optimist, does it show? :lol:
