Thanks for the comment, Luce. I've had a sudden burst of inspiration so this installment right here came with hardly any effort.

Okay, while working on my fic I came across a bit of a speed bump. Now, I want to take what info the writers have given us regarding the Horatio/Yelina/Raymond past and put it to work. About what age was Ray Jr. when his father died? I'm guessing about 4-5?

Oh no, Ray's DOD surfaces again! Geez, in days of yore, Goosey and I spent an obscene amount of time trying to figure out this same issue. I think the date that's the most believable is 2001 but still needs to be clarified from information given in Season 3.
To keep in mind too that RJ was introduced to us in "GYM" as an 8-yr-old but through the magical aging process of TV Land, morphed into a 12-year-old in "Hell Night". From a storyline perpective I wish they had left his character at 8 to 10 years of age. The current RJ feels too "old".
BTW, in keeping with talk about naming thread #4......

Thanks for the help Tally. I just hate it when the writer's leave such big holes in the storyline. Great big holes, big enough to drive a truck through, if you ask me. Sheesh.
