wouldn't it be great if in the next episode horatio got a postcard from yelina, somthing like. "having a great time, wish you were here. We'll be home soon, so put the kettle on, lots of love, Yelina xxxx"
Hehe! Yes, but I'd rather she wasn't having a 'great' time with Raymond! ;)

Posted by Gilliian: Out of curiosity, what happened to the multi-writer fanfic? Just wondering
We decided to take a break from it due to real life interruptions, but we may return to it at some point. :)

I believe Madison was 4 yrs old in 'Big Brother', so I guess she would now be just over 6.

I hear ya. Just inundate yourself with more "House". It's so much more entertaining than the icky "S4 Ode to Garbage".

Seriously. S4 really isn't worth the irritation. Miami, in its current offering has been quite, quite dead to me since the early part of S4. We'll have to see about S5. In the interim, I'm now quite happy to bask in S1-S3 nostalgia.

off topic: Love your Danny Taylor WAT icon!

Thanks, I'm a huge Danny fan. I suppose Without a Trace (along with LOST) has been my substitute for entertainment lately.

 Yeah. It'd be great to find out that she got rid of Raymond once she got there ;).

An Ode to garbage it is indeed! Let's just hope none of its stink seeps through the cracks into s5. *crosses fingers*

And thanks for the pics Pusher. :) Lovely.

This thread has been needful therapy today. Still trying to shake off last night's episode. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it (but I'm sure most of you know what I'm saying). You guys smell something?

Eww, do we ever! Well, I haven't watched the episode. Then again I haven't watched much of S4 at all since the hellish descent into this loathsome quagmire. Plus, I AVOID all Miami spoilers like the proverbial plague. I really, really like being in denial about the abomination that is S4. Much easier all the way around.

Let's face it, there is bugger all NO saving grace about S4. Even, Horatio is so playing taps on my last nerve. Still, I must admit that I am amazed at DC's "all back of the bus" (to quote Riddick) acceptance of the deliberate character assasination of the Horatio of S1-S3. The tall and short of it is that S4 is an abberation but I reckon we should expect worse things before S4 is mercifully put out of its misery.

Hey Pusher brilliant pics. Thanks. :)

As our dear Rick once said, that's good advice! ;)

Wonderful pics yet again Pusher. Thanks. :) Looks like I need not worry about a lack of pics being posted here while I'm away. I can now relax a little knowing that my favourite thread will be lovingly looked after. :D

Oh, mine too. You guys are right. I would be better off not watching S4 at all, and keeping myself stimulated by shows such as 'House' (which I love!). I'll give it 'til end of season, read the S5 spoilers, and then make my decision.

Great NTL pics Pusher. I loved that scene with H, Y and Suzie at the Crime Lab. :D

I too am suprised at DC's acceptance of the demolishing of his character. You'd think he'd argue to some degree. Oh, I would love to hear what his thoughts are on the decline and fall of Miami. However, seeing how bad our luck is--he may have no problem with it. *sighs* I just hope that isn't the case. :(

Whenever DC discusses the show, he just sings the company tune and really talks it up, which I suppose is to be expected. I too would love to know what he really thinks. He currently must feel he's acting in a soap opera! However, while the show is still doing well ratings wise, it seems TPTB aren't really too bothered about quality. AD says "Jump" and DC probably says "How high?"

If I was DC, I would be very embarrassed about the current state of the show. It's all style over substance with crazy storylines.

I've just read that there are going to be 25 episodes this season, so we have an extra one to endure!

Eek, really? I was hoping to be put out of my misery sooner than that!

I'm all for basking in S1-3 nostalgia, as Tally mentioned. Maybe we should save the nasty details of S4 for the Miami Forum! I don't think anyone liked Monday's episode very much, reading the comments over there. We're not alone in our disappointment, that's for sure. Thing is, will it be reflected in the ratings?

I, for one, would be supremely grateful if the unwholesome taint of S4 would not foul this thread in any form otherwise I'd be without a H/Y place to visit. *sigh*

Ratings will remain because of the seething brutish mass of Troglodytes. I am actually quite, quite embarrassed for DC. IT has come THIS that he happily (on the outside, anyhow) wallow in such drivel. But as Luce said, they sign his paychecks so he has to jump when they tell him. Y'all remember how he gushed when they introduced the actress who played Rebecca? Gag Me with a Barney Doll! Now THAT was a pathetic company line if ever that was one.

All I can say is, Rentboy, Thy Hour Cometh.

For now...

I believe I also read that Miami has become the most watched show on the planet (by whos standards, I don't know). So the ratings don't seem to be swindling yet.

Yes it would be great to not talk about the gross thing that is s4 here but I think we may have to expect the once-in-a-while complaint. ;)

Hee. Complaints we can do sure enough. After all, it's good 'ol fashioned BMW (er, Bitch, Moan and Whine) therapy, right? ;) Goodness knows when it comes to S4, we're all pretty much driving BMW's 7-series with all the bells and whistles.

Definately catchy Tally.

hehe. Oh, we'll definately be driving our BMW's a lot! (It's not like we haven't been doing it already ;)) I don't think I can bitch, moan, or whine individually--always have to have company.
