Grave Danger- a different version. GSR fic!! sort of..

Okay, so this is going to be my second fan fic.
It's a lot like Grave Danger, and it has a bunch of things that are the same as in Grave Danger, but it's not Nick and this is a sort of GSR fic. Just a brief descripion, Sara has a 14 year old daughter, and her name is Gracie.
Sara just married Grissom six months ago, and Gracie is close to him, just she's never called him dad.
Okay, so I guess I'll start, please let me know what you think.

Chapter 1

It was just a normal day at the lab, then Sara went rushing into Grissom's office that evening saying, "Grissom, Gracie didn't come home from school! I called her school, her best friend, and even the bus driver, they said they haven't seen her. Except her best friend did say the last time she saw her was at lunch. Gil I'm really worried!"

Grissom stood up and went over to Sara and wrapped her in a hug as he said, "Don't worry Hun, we'll find her. We'll find her."
Not twenty seconds later Grissom and Sara heard comotion coming from the desk, they walked out of the office and saw Greg arguing with the postman.

Grissom went over to them and read what the envelope said, which was, "Re:Gracie."
He snached it out of both their hands so fast it was redickulas. Greg stayed there arguing with the postman about something, and Grissom and Sara went back into the office and opened the envelope very carefully.

All the other CSI's heard about Gracie and they all knew her too so they all went in the office too. Grissom pulled out a walkie talkie, a cassete tape and a computer chip.
He first put on the tape, and it ended up being very disturbing to everyone, specially Sara and Grissom.

A man's voice came on saying, "Well hello Mr and Mrs. Grissom, I guess you're both wondering what happened to your precious Graceland huh? Well guess what, I know.
That walkie talkie I gave you allows you to talk to her for four hours, that is if she turns her's on. I guess you could say she's a little unable to right now. But there is always that chip I sent. I guess you could see if that works, you never know. Anyway, she has about 24 hours to live I guess, unless......................."

The tape stopped at unless. Sara just stared at Grissom with tears in her eyes, and all the other CSI's took turns looking at eachother. Then Grissom walked over to the computer and put the chip in. Big words apeared on the screen, "Unless....... You want her back bad enough!"
A little button that said 'click me' came up on the screen, and Grissom's hand shook as he clicked it.

A live video came up with Gracie lying on her back in what looked like a clear box with dirt surrounding her. Her eyes were closed and she wasn't moving. Sara thought of the worst as everyone else was too, she grabbed Grissom's hand and just started crying like crazy. But then Grissom looked closer at the video and said, "She's breathing. She's just knocked out."

That still didn't stop Sara from being so upset. And on top of that Greg said, "What's that on her wrist?"
Grissom looked at it very closely, then he said, "Someone slit her wrist, she's bleeding."
Well that did it for Sara, she took one more look at her daughter just laying there, then she bursted in tears and left the room.

Nick, and Catherine went after her, and Greg and Warrick just stayed there next to Grissom. Grissom stayed staring straight at the video for the next fifteen minutes, having to re click the button every five because it went off after that time limit. Anyway, after the 15 minutes Grissom and Greg were the only ones left in there, eveyone else had gone after Sara. But then something happened, Gracie started to move a little. Grissom stood up and saw Gracie open her eyes, then she started to move her hand. She reached over to the wrist that was bleeding, and Grissom could tell she was in pain.

Then the worst started to happen, Gracie realized she was in a very small area, and she started to become very scared. So she started moving around very fast and banging on the side of the case she was in. Grissom could also tell she started to scream, Greg just looked like he had been shot. But then Gracie started to settle down even though she was still breathing very hard!

She started to feel around her, and she picked up two things, one was a walkie talkie just like the one Grissom has, and the other was a gun. That's what scared Grissom the most. Anyway, Gracie put the gun back down beside her and layed the walkie talkie on her stomache as she ripped a part of her shirt sleeve off. Greg was confused as he said to Grissom, "What's she doing?"

Grissom grinned and said, "She's smart, she's going to try and stop the bleeding."
Not two seconds later she started to wrap her wrist up with the ripped cloth. Grissom turned to Greg and said, "Go get Sara, now."
So Greg went, and Grissom continued to just watch Gracie. He knew he wouldn't be able to talk to her until he saw her turn her walkie talkie on, so he just waited, then Sara came in....

HEre goes chapter 2

Chapter 2

Sara walked over to Grissom and just stared at the computer screen. She was happy Gracie was still alive, but she was still very upset. Everytime Gracie moved Sara grasped Grissom's hand, and everytime she did that Grissom started to shake. Especially when he saw Gracie pick up the walkie talkie. He turned theirs on right away, and then he said, "Come on Grace, just turn it on, turn it on."

And she did. She turned the nob, and held down the button as she said into the speaker, "Hello! Is anybody there!"
Sara snached the walkie talkie out of Grissom's hand and said, "Yes Baby, it's Mom, are you okay!"
Gracie was crying as she said, "Mommy, help me please, I'm in some kind of box, and it's really hard to breathe!"

Sara now started to loose it again also, so Grissom took the walkie talkie and said, "Grace, it's Grissom."
"Grissom, please help me!"
"Gracie, I need you to listen to me, it's very importent, understand?"
"I'm so scared, I can barely breathe!

Grissom looked deeply at the screen, then he said, "Grace, put your hand on the top of the box, and close your eyes. Please, it will help."
So doing what Grissom said, she put her hand on the roof of the box she was lying in, and she shut her eyes.
Grissom took his hand off the button and looked in Sara's eyes. Then he said, "Sara, she's going to be okay, could you go get Greg please, I promise I'll keep talking to her, okay hun?"

Sara really didn't like the thought of leaving, but she also thought it might be a good idea to take a little walk, so she did. Grissom pushed the button down again and said, "Gracie, you need to take slow deep breaths, and try and be as calm as you can. I know you might not understand, but we can see you."
Gracie opened her eyes, and then said very calmly, "Where are you Grissom?"

Grissom smiled and said, "I'm watching over you, we all are, and we're going to find you, I promise."
Gracie nodded her head, then she said, "Is Mom alright?"
Grissom looked back at the door, and he saw Sara and Greg coming, then he said, "Yea, she's going to be just fine, she's just worried about you, that's all. But you'll be okay."

Gracie smiled the best she could in the position she was in, then she said, "Thank you Grissom."
He smiled, then he said, "Here Grace, someone wants to talk to you."
He took his finger off the button and turned to Greg, then he said, "Hey Greg, I think it will make Gracie happy if you talk to her, she likes you a lot."

Greg nodded then he took the walkie and said, "Hey Gracie, it's Greg."
Gracie smiled once more, then Grissom looked to Sara and said, "Come on dear, we're going to track down that postman again. She'll be fine, don't worry."
Sara grinned slihtly with another tear rolling down her face, then Griss looked back at Greg and said, "Greg, we'll be back soon, try and comfort her, she needs you."

Chapter 3
---------------

So Grissom and Sara went out into the lobby and asked hodges if he knew what the postman's name was, and he said he did. So Grissom called the guy and said, "Hey you! This is Gil Grissom from the crime lab, and I need you to tell me where you got that envelope from, now! It's very importent, so don't make me get a warrent!"

So the postman stayed silent for just a second, then he said, "2416 Surgarbeery St, it's some kind of dark building, I didn't even see the guys face, he kept it covered up."
Grissom looked to Sara then said, "You better be telling the truth, cause if you're not I will know in about fifteen minutes!"
Grissom hung up with the man, then he called all the CSI's to the back room where Greg was talking to Gracie.

When they all made it in there, Grissom walked over to Greg and looked at the screen. Gracie seemed to be very calm for the moment, but know one knew how long that would last.
Greg looked up to Grissom and said, "I think she's having more trouble breathing now, so she's not talking with me so much."
Grissom nodded and said, "That's good for the moment, she shouldn't be wasting her breath, she doesn't have that much to begin with. Anyway, I have to talk to you guys, I know an address now, but someone has to be able to stay here and watch Gracie. I'm taking the walkie talkie, but someone needs to watch her."

Hodges walked in and said, "I can stay here and watch her."
"Yea, so can I." Archie came in too, then he said, "And I can call you if something starts to happen."
"Okay then, I will call her on the walkie and tell her, please, if anything un normal starts to happen call us. I'll be able to talk to her but I need to know how her bodies doing in that case."
Archie and Hodges nodded.

Grissom pushed the nob back down and said, "Gracie, we're about to be going to talk to someone that might be able to tell us where you are, Archie and Hodges are going to stay and keep an eye on you, but I will have the walkie talkie with me at all times so if you need to talk one of us will be available, okay?"

Gracie nodded and said, "Yes sir, I'll try and not have to call you, but I will if I need to. And also, please thank Greg for talking with me a few minutes ago, he helped a lot."
Grissom looked at Greg and just nodded in a happy way, then Sara went up to him and gave him a hug. Greg just smiled and kept hugging Sara. Then they all left the lab, hoping and praying everything would work out. Especially Sara and Grissom.

Chapter 4

So all the CSI's left and when they arrived at the address the postman gave them, it did look like a dezerted place.
So everyone got out of their cars and walked up to the door. Grissom led the way because he wanted to make sure it was safe. So when he made it to the door there was anote that said, "If you are here in regards to Gracie Sidle, come around to the back, and you best hurry!"

Not ten seconds after he read that off to the others his phone rang, it was Archie, and he said, "Grissom, I don't know what happened, the whole screen just went black, we can't see anything. And I've tried to fix it, nothing works."
Grissom closed his eyes, then five seconds later he said, "Keep trying Archie, I got to go, bye."

Sara and the others looked at Grissom and said, "What Grissom? What's wrong?"
"The computer screen went black on them, they can't see Gracie or anything else, I don't know what happened, but I have a feeling we're about to find out."
Just at that time Warrick realized Greg wasn't there with them anymore, and once he said that Grissom and the rest of them went rushing off to the back, and you'll never believe what they saw.

Greg was standing about twenty feet away from the other CSI's when they came around the corner, all they could see was Greg standing there facing them with his hands in the air. But then Greg closed his eyes, and turned around now facing the other direction. And then a man walked out from in front of Greg pointing a gun straight at his head.

Sara grasped Grissom's hand once more, and Catherine took hold of Warrick's and Nick's. Then the man pointing the gun at Greg said, "You must be very brave coming out here, you all must really care about that kid to risk your own lives for her's."
Grissom looked at Greg and then back to the guy and said, "We do. So why don't you just tell us where she is, please, we love her."

The man grinned and then said, "Fine, I'll tell you where she is, hey, since I'm feeling giving today, how about I just show you."
Grissom just looked at Sara, then the man said, "Come on out, there's some people here that wants to see you."
Gracie came out from around the corner very slowly with now a big cut on the side of her face.
Grissom suddenly became very wide eyed, and Sara just couldn't help what she was about to do. She released Grissom's hand and took about three running steps forward saying, "Gracie!" But then the worst came out, you might have thought their were 6 CSI's up against one bad guy, but you're wrong. As soon as Sara made that move 5 other bad guys came out too, now standings beside each one of them, including Gracie. And they all had guns.

So the first bad guy holding Greg hostage said, "Well then, now it's even. So, Mr. Grissom. Tell me, whose more importent."
Grissom raised his eye brows and said, "What?"
"Well since I am being so nice today, I'm willing to make a litle deal with you, and it's strictly your choice. So, do you want to hear it?"

Grissom looked at Gracie, and then he said, "Yea, what's the deal?"
"Good, you're being very considering here Mr. Grissom, and so am I. So here's the deal, I'll let Gracie go, in return for something else."

Grissom looked back at him and said, "What?"
The man grinned and said, "Actually it's really someone else to be honest with you. I'll let Gracie go, and I won't kill her, in place for him."
The guy was pointing at Greg again, and all the CSI's jumped as the guy put the gun even closer to Greg's head.
Grissom just stared, then the man said, "So Mr. Grissom, the fate of these two lye with in your hands, so.... What will it be, you can have Gracie and your family back. But then that means you have to live with the choice you make in killing Mr. Sanders. Completely your choice, so what will it be?....................
