Kinda expecting low ratings for all shows tonight unless Cardinals and Rangers finish by 9 in the Central and West coast times.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but TVLine is reporting CBS has decided to show reruns tonight instead of trying to compete with game 7 of the World Series.

Haven't they got a bit mixed up with Hawkes? He isn't a cop but he was acting like it tonight.

Mac (of whom there was not nearly enough), Sid, Jo (of whom there was not nearly enough), and Flack managed to salvage this ep from what would have been a totally boring heel dragging episode. Not because of the case which had enough merit in and of itself, but good god.... the endless lab montages with Hawkes and Lindsey and the endless funeral argument between Danny and Lindsey....! I was about ready to punch the tv more than once.

There were good points to this ep. Danny and Adam visiting the frat house and Adam revealing why he had been 'dinged' was priceless. He drew the line at naked leap frog... :guffaw:

The bit with Mac and Sid and the 'Hammerback Pillow' had me rolling on the floor with laughter. In and of itself that scene really had no point and could have totally fallen flat, but Robert Joy and Gary are genius, and had me in stitches :guffaw:

Mac and Don in the cemetery were awesome! I would have liked a more detailed fight scene between Mac and his assailant, but the close up of him drawing his gun was amazing, and Flack shooting his bad guy was ace :D

And I actually really liked the end scene, beginning in the hall with just Mac and Jo. I love how she cajoles him into doing things he wouldn't have done in the past, and the team's analysis on the horror movie beheading was brilliant. From each of them finding problems with it based on what exactly they do. It's actually one of the first team endings I've liked and haven't shrunk down and groaned from the pure cheese.

So all in all: B-

The case wasn't bad, and there were some good moments, but overall the heavy use of endless lab montages and pointless filler bits dragged the entire ep down.

I quite enjoyed this episode. I liked the "spooky" bits and the subplots. Good use of humor. I loved Sid's creepy pillow and Mac's reaction to it. Made the show for me. Also the end scene was quite nice. I liked how they got all technical about how the dudes head would fly off. I gave it an A+. I am biased though because I hadn't watched CSI: NY at all the past three weeks so I was ready for it.

I thought the D/L stuff was fun myself. Do some of you just think they overdid it a bit? I can see that POV.

I did love the ending. "life plus 30 years for rediculous" lol

It started off ok, and would have worked actually, but yes, they drew it out way too long and overdid it...

I did love the ending. "life plus 30 years for rediculous" lol
That was ace!!!! Have I mentioned I love Flack! :guffaw:

I liked this episode and liked the Sid/Mac scenes.

I did think they did over do it with D/L death chat scenes.

I have to confess, I don't think a guy would survive 48 hours in a crypt with just beer.

I liked the ending though with the gang.
