i didn't appreciate danny & lindsay being surgically attached again at the start.
Huh? They were? Didn't notice that at all. The only scene I remember with them was when Lindsay asked Danny hypothetically, "Can you imagine finding your kid like this?" I was really surprised she didn't say "our kid" or "Lucy"... so it seemed more like they were just two CSIs working a case rather than the way the writers sometimes have a tendency to remind us that they are married.

i do see what you mean, but i would rather her line had gone to just about anyone else, because by it being danny, the implication was there. after last week having them almost completely separated, i thought maybe there was hope for the rest of the season, then they stuck them back together again!
The only people who have kids on the show are Danny/Lindsay and Jo. And it wasn't like they were together for the whole episode - just briefly in one scene.

To be honest I didn't even remember them being together in a scene so they obviously didn't bother me this week. But I do agree it was weird that Lindsay said "your kid."

ETA: Faylinn, Mac totally looks like some freaky cult leader or axe murderer or something with that facial expression. lol

What I thought was really great about this episode were the character moments.

-Mac and Adam with the fist bump  That was just so funny. I really enjoy when Mac gets annoyed or amused by Adam.

-Flack talking to the mom :) Oh and I thought that slide he did when in pursuit of the suspect was really cool.

-And Jo. Pretty much everything Jo did was great :D Loved her scene with Flack and the high five and that she pushed the dumpster? into the guy's path. I had my reservations about the actress cast to play Ellie but I thought the kid did great and she has good chemistry with Sela. Those scenes were really sweet and I'm glad we got a bit more insight into Jo's family. The burlesque bit was very funny . And how can I forget her desk . I really like that Jo brings a very fun, more relaxed personality to the show.

Another great episode!!This season rocks:lol::lol:
I gave it an A!!!

The case was awesome!!I liked it a lot because I found it unique and fresh, something that we don't see that often on CSI anymore. It reminded me of last season's Death House!!!:)

I loved Jo's interactions with her daughter!!:)The actress that portrays Ellie did an amazing job.

HE** This episode deserves an A+

As most episodes this season, this episode shone because it provided me of good entertaining, good acting, good writing, good directing and superlative FX work!:bolian:

I truly liked it :D It kept me intrigued all the time and it was a surprise to find out it was Alison. And yes, someone above mentioned Shane Casey. Alison, because of the way she planned everything so carefully, had part of those features that made Shane unique:hugegrin:It didn't matter she was just there 5 minutes. The actress who portrayed her made them worth and i totally believed her rage and fury against those who killed her fiance (even when Craig and Jeremy didn't do it, she did believe it and it was palpable

Quite scary the way Alison's friend controlled Jeremy's parents that led them to Craig's body

*****Talking about THAT body...I. LOVE. IT:D. Along with that half body from Sleight out of Hand (the one even Melina was impressed:thumbsup:), the headless body from "Hung out.." and "Sid's mummy" from Death House:Dthis body has been simply awesome. I admit i had to stop having my dinner:lol: I can handle spiders but not worms:p and It was completely hilarious teh way Sid and Sheldon did it, especially Sid's "Oh my God" I don't know, maybe because it sounded so completely natural coming from Robert himself and not only from Sid. We should have them more often. They enhance each other:hugegrin:

Then we have Ellie. She is simply lovely and a typical teenager:lol: I just love how she headed towards her momma's office and only Mac being capable of stopping her. I don't know if we are going to know Jo's son but it was obvious she misses her son. There was a nostalgy in her voice when, at the end, she talked to him.

May i ask what the heck happened to Mac?:p he was too flirtatious and the object of his admiration was Jo. I insist they are like brother and a sister so i don't mind :D

Amazing scene between Flack and Craig's mother. Very touching and deep moment. Eddie and the actress were incredible. Another actress whose 5 minutes of chance made them worth:bolian: I liked the way he suggested very politely not to see Craig's body. I can't quote but definitely the moment she said soemthing about not being able to say good ye... and then it was something Don or Mac repeated later. Very well done!

Sliding scene..just GREAT:lol: and yes, Jo is not the "running-type" as Stella was but i take it just like part of her personality

Fire? yes, the fire scene was another strong point and snakes gave chills to my spine:eek:

A scene that surprised me was that one with Jo and Alison inside the interrogation room at Rikers. It did because the incredible changed Jo's personality suffered. She is a warm person but she suffered a huge transformation in front of my eyes when she saw Alison. It was like facing someone who caused so much pain like Alison, Jo had to change until the point she became Alison too. She HAD to be Alison in order to face her. Maybe on of the best scenes so far!

At the end, Messy Jo in action:lol: I thought Mac would be upset for her being so messy but he wasn't.

Great episode, great FX work, great everythign about it (I still have another comment pending but i didn't want to miss any detail :D

It was an okay episode.

Didn't like Jeremy's parents. The dad was too much of a whiner.

Didn't feel any sympathy with the barmaid who lost her boyfriend.

Are 18-year-old allowed in bars in NYC? Around here the age limit to get into most bars is 21. There are some where you have to be 25 to get in.

I love Jo and her daughter, but I wonder how Ellie got into the crime lab floor. I thought that was supposed to be a secured floor.
