Again, thanks for scanning and posting the pages, kay. I didn't know there were so many graphic novels, but then again, it's hard to get CSI-related stuff on this small southeast Asian island except for the DVDs. :lol: I love that Cath and Gil are always touching each other in the graphic novels and that their close friendship continues in them. Um I think Max Allan Collins is my favorite CSI writer now. :lol:

Oooh I'm gonna try icon these pages and see what I'll come up with.

Everybody gets that Gil and Catherine should be together except the writers apparently. I mean honestly if they would take the time to read the graphic novels and the books and all the great fan fiction that's written about G/C, there's no way they couldn't see what we all see...unless they just don't want to. I wish they would just get the hint.

I agree CSIz_4_H, I'm being to think, they are just doing it to be annoying...

I have only read one CSI novel, it was by Max Allan Collins, he is such a fantastic writer. I read Binding Ties, it was fantastic, one of my fave books ever. I'm going out shopping tommorow and will hopefully buy some more.

Secret Identity is by Steven Grant, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Steven Perkins, but I think M.A.C. has also done a few graphic novels. He is also my favorite author for the regular CSI books. Sin City (cath goes to a strip club), Double Dealer, and Killing Game (split shifts & two cases merge) are my favorites of the regular books.

Thanks for posting those kaylyne. You ladies are right, Gil and Cath do touch each other a lot in this novels. I did read two CSI books and I enjoyed them a lot.

Erica, that fic you recommended is fantastic! I read it twice. I love how fan fiction writers can capture the wonderful relationship between Gil and Cath but somehow it's gotten lost over the past couple of seasons on CSI.

Man, after seeing all these graphic novels it makes me want to go back and read all the books I have again. I can never get enough Purejoy.

That fan fic was great that you posted Erica. I've read quite a few good ones on there.

I got the same idea you have Adorable_Crazy, I'm going shopping for some more books tomorrow too. I guess G/C minds think alike.:lol:

I have seen those graphic novel pages a few times (thanks to kaylyne), but I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. They capture the relationship between Catherine and Gil so well that it feels like watching the early seasons of CSI on TV. Hmmm I think TPTB could try inviting these writers to write scripts for the show hehe. They would do a great job.

And I knew you guys would love that fic! It was so beautiful.

CSIz_4_H, well I agree, great minds do think alike. I did buy a CSI book today, it's... Erm... *Goes to look for it* Snake Eyes, by Max Allan Collins, I haven't started it yet, because I'm only just home, but it sounds fab, I'm hoping for some G/C scenes in it. *Fingers Crossed*

Thanks again Kaylyne for posting these sippets from the novels, I was looking for some graphic novels today, but the shop didn't have any, they only had Max Allan Collins ones, not that I mind though, because I really like his books. The G/C scenes you posted are great, I'm hoping for more like these in the show, thanks for taking the time to post them for us.

Wow. Talk CSI underwent a huge change while I was away.

You know, I only have one of the graphic novels (Serial) and I've been looking for all the others all over the place. I live in Vancouver, so I guess it might not be published up here in Canada. But it's always nice to see some quality G/C scenes, especially graphic ones.

I want my ET kiss too!

I know Billy and Marg are cute with their respective spouses, but I'm all for Marg/Billy. They're just so hot together. ^0^

Has anyone read about the spoilers of ep 14?

Spoiler: 8x14 Drops' Out

A previous guesting role, Drops (Method Man), is back in this episode. There isn't much mention of Catherine or Gil, but I think both of them are working on the same case. In fact, it seems it's going to be another single-case episode. lol. It is possible that Catherine will be with the victim's two little girls in one of her scenes, but I'm not sure. I hope they'll let her deal with the kids. We know she's good with them. And of course I hope they'll give us a C/G scene where Catherine and Gil talk about these kids.

^Oh that should be an interesting episode. I hope we do get some G/C scenes. A scene with kids would be great to see. They could play mom and dad...how cute would that be?

So far they seem to be working the same cases and that's a good thing.

Yeah from the spoilers we have so far, it looks like Cath and Gil will be working on the same cases in the next three episodes...but then again, they all seem to be single-case episodes. Okay, okay, I know I'm pessimist. :lol: But really, I enjoy it whenever they are in the same scene sharing their thoughts so I'm completely fine with that.

Oh and I like the new spoiler tags! Very handy. Heh.

I'm happy as long as Gil and Catherine are in the same scenes together, even if it is with everybody else, because that's all we need to happen and then let Billy and Marg do the rest. They know what to do.
