Gil <3 Cath #27: PureJoy--He Enjoys Her Slaps

Well I'm not technically "back" but I'm dropping in, seeing what's going on in the shipper world I have come to fall head-over-heels in love with. I'm occasionally updating fanfiction and I thought I'd give you guys a pleasant visit.

Hehe I didn't make my icon, DV over at BTA did. She's made a few cute artworks. I really love this one. It's funny. :lol: I don't know who made Heather's, though. You might need to ask her. And I can't wait to read more of your fic, Gravy, although I still have some catch-up to do.

 

That's actually really quite hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. Maybe I should enquire about these icons...speaking of which I haven't made any recently. Stupid school and college applications, eh? (there's the canadian in me again) But glad you're willing to catch up, Erica, thanks for all the support.

Ok Kissy, to answer you. The undeniable chemistry between the actors/characters in S1. And the fact that they look absolutly gorgeous together. There was always a hint of flirtatiousness between the two which I thought would lead to more...alas, I was wrong. Meh.

I think Cath is finally reaching Gil's sense of adventure... again. The go-kart thing looks really cute. Maybe we will get some ab-lib lines in that episode. I also makes me wonder if we are going to see Gil and/or Cath on a rollercoaster.

I think it was their chemistry that pulled me in. The first ep I watched was Feeling the Heat, a great ep, and I just saw how natural they seemed when they held the baby. It was almost as if they were personally affected by it, and going through the pain together. It seemed like such a special relationship. Then, when he went off the case to help warrick, i was like wtf, but meh.

Actually because I didn't know anything about the show before FTH, I thought that Lindsey was Gil and Caths when Cath looked in her locker. Go figure.

Gil: I'll take Cath in the heat.
Cath: I'll take Gil's water.

I guess those work for both, FTH and SS.

I actually thought Gil and Catherine were married when I watched CSI for the first time. *giggle*

And how about..

I thought Gil and Cath had a great friendship/husband-wife thing going when I first started watching.
They had such a great back-and-forth between them.
Sometimes shows have the main male/female leads involved with each other somehow, either married or divorced.

I just knew there was something about their relationship that was so fun to watch

grissom vs. volcano=grissom hugging cath and protecting her from the gun fire... not to mention pressing her against a vehicle...

why not? if an airplane can help get you off, and a roller coaster, why not a freaking altitude containing fire mountain?
